People on a diet tend not to go to fast food joints.

This is why stuff like salads at McDonald's traditionally don't sell.

This has been known for well over a decade...

I like this trend. Fattening foods are obviously easy to spot, but it's not so easy to determine at a glance which dishes have a ton of salt in them.

I'd eat them, then I'd wash myself with a rag on a stick.

Not only do they have 2900 calories, they have 182g of fat, which is 280% of the recommended daily value. And one serving is nearly two pounds. Yikes.

Wait --

"It cost him about $2,500, but he learned everything about each dish, from calories to sodium content, which he then posted on the Spicy Pickle website."

"It was expensive to do, especially for a small business like us," says Geman, whose Denver-based company of six stores and 30 franchises pulled in about $20 million last year. "But I understand that people want to know what they're eating."

Is $2,500 really that expensive for a company that made $20 million last year?

Probably not, but it just says that they pulled in $20 million, maybe their net profit was really low. Just saying.

You could always go for a low-carb poutine: cheese curds floating in broth.

Elvis fries from Gunther Toody's are the ultimate fries. They're smothered in sausage gravy and cheddar cheese. Mmmmmmm. And I could care less how many calories they have. When I'm in the mood for Elvis fries, calories are the least of my worries.
