I read this headline three times thinking the submitter intended to say "hoping," not "hopping."

Why the fark was he hopping to catch the ball? Is he a rabbit?

Yeah, and on their first game without Soriano they just scored four runs in the first inning... I think they'll be fine.

Yeah, those four runs are against Josh "Don't Know What You're Getting Today" Fogg... Congrats...

And the Cubs are up 4-1 without him in the 2nd inning as I type this.

Much like any bizarre injury is called a 'Pavano' or a 'Hampton', we like to call 'diving needlessly for a routine fly' the 'Edmonds Special'

Doesn't matter, I've already booked my flights for the world series. Book it.

Needless diving? Definitely. But he's still a hero.

10-1 Cubs and the 3rd inning isn't even over yet.

Soriano who?

Alfonswho Soriwhat now?

Although I wonder how he would have handled that fly ball that DeRosa misjudged so badly.

/DeRosa's still the man

Sorry, Subby (and future "Cubs suck" headline submitters), but the Cubs are far from sucking this year.

However, Soriano makes me sick sometimes. He can't work a count and tries to hit a god damn grand-slam every time. And he seems to always get needlessly injured while in the field.

Oh yeah, and he's sort of an attention whore:

That car is worse than Devin Hester's.

zdamort: That car is worse than Devin Hester's.

Devin Hester is from Riviera Beach, FL (part of south Florida), sadly in the same county I live. Hester's car gets the Florida tag, Soriano's gets the STUPID tag.

Soriano Fantasy Owner here.

That cacksucker's been riding the bench since the beginning of the season anyway. He can't hit above the Mendoza Line and he's only got one home-run that I can recall. He's probably going to come out of his slump, but right now it's not hurting me one iota. Fark him.
