I think you are missing one thing here. Some guys (sadly, I speak from experience to some degree) cheat. It doesn't matter who they are with. It is kind of like a person with a "gambling problem" who knows deep down that they will lose, but they continue gambling. So anyway, that is one perspective.

If you cheat, you are a weak person.

Furthermore, your word means nothing. If you marry, you give your word to God, your spouse, your self and everyone else present to be faithful. If you stray from your pledge you are the lowest of the low.
