Those turkish pilots need to lay off the LSD for a while.

Didn't the Turks invent the water-pipe (BONG)? Heh, gotta love em.

It was just one of the Greek gods out for a little fun with the infidels...

It was probably just some nifty US secret military aircraft out playing with the locals.

What will homo sap do when the ETs complete all their studies and decide its time to do something besides watch?

WC, that was my thought too. Some kind of black-ops aircraft testing.

I read about this in a Turkish paper, but couldn't be bothered to find it in English to submit. This story has a picture.

No pictures? No proof? Not a suprise.

Maybe it was a Chinese fighter...

I doubt it was a Chinese fighter. If it was, he would have crashed into the Turk and then blamed it on Turkey.

I am beginning to believe that intelligent life in the universe (this one) is very rare.

I began to get a hint, about two weeks ago of a coming together of possiblitys that would explain the common UFO.

The hint was, that perhaps we should be looking more at whale beachings, and less at a life form embarking on intersteller exploration.

It would be a strange life form, not unlike that proposed by Conon Doyle in his lesser known writings.

I don't think a dead one would leave much evidence.

I don't think they are very intellegent, and wonder, would we be percieved the same way?

Sometimes in this life,
Man looks to the skies.
He ponders his life,
He asks why,
And ponders his lot.

Sometimes, just sometimes,
The skies will open up,
The universe will look down,
And smiling, will answer,
"Why not?"

UFO my ass... It was a No-Dong missle I tell ya.

It's the oldest trick in the airforce. You duct tape a pipe cleaner with a beer cap on the end to your buddies helmet and then roar has he reports seeing UFO's all around him.

Intelligent life in the universe? Not by what I see on this planet.

Bumpersticker: "Beam me up Scotty, there's no intelligent life down here"

"Turkish pilot buzzed"
Sounds about right.

BTW: Link to English version in a Turkish paper -

It's days like this that I wonder when I'll finally be able to leave all things Turkish behind for good...
