Nope, that's the kind of thing you have to do while both you and the other person are alive. That's how meeting someone works.

Of course if you believe in supernatural post postmortem existence you think people can meet each other after their bodies have decayed and their brain is gone. But that makes no sense

They can sit down & watch "Midway" together. It'll be sweet.

The longest unambiguously documented lifespan is that of Jeanne Calment of France (1875-1997), who was 122 years and 164 days.

Since the death of Yone Minagawa on August 13, 2007, the oldest living person is 114-year-old Edna Parker of the U.S., who was born on April 20, 1893. She and Maria de Jesus of Portugal are the only validated people born in 1893 who are still alive.

The real shame is that now Heston is dead, he is really dead.

There is no just reward for such an actor.

There is no heaven for him to go to, no hell for Hitler.

Just the oblivion of eternal death.

/So long Moses.
//You really were pretty damned good on film

Guns & Moses, dead at the senseless age of 84.....

I read this headline before I read the one about Heston, so I was puzzled by the 'Sad' tag.

But now I see it was an excellent move, subby. +1

According to this as of March 13th he was working on his auto biography...if he's dead then it must be a really short one.

Japan has one of the world's longest average life spans - a factor often attributed to a healthy diet rich in fish and rice. In 2006 Japanese women set a new record for life expectancy at 85.81 years, while men live an average of about 79 years.

I fail to see how this is any longer than the US or any other country.

Those are averages, not examples of individual cases. For the US the years for both sexes is less by 5 years or so. You fail statistics.

the more you know

Japan hasused to have one of the world's longest average life spans

FTFY.

Meanwhile, American life span could actually be dropping due to the recent increase in lard among the general population.
