A few weeks ago, I was waxing rhapsodic about the virtues of Senator Obama to my friend and fellow writer Tim Kelleher, and he said to me "I think you might be gay for the guy." It was a cute idea at first, but the song is just a little too long & after a while I got bored. It's just not funny enough to warrant listening to for 3 minutes. I'm no comedian, but I know that usually the best way to keep a funny idea funny is to keep it short & not drag the idea out.
