ok link goes nowhere. sorry. here's the link the the prior thread

Link (new window)

question, with such a big group do you guys want to do name tags? 1) you'll be able to spot each other and know who's a farker and who's not but 2) you'll be in a public place with other folks and you'll be wearing name tags with "handles" and real names..too geeky? :)

hope to see ya all there!

Bee!

Great to finally meet you last night. I will make a supreme effort to attend on Friday.

I think name tags would have helped last night, especially for those of us who were attending for the first time.

Name tags are a great thing to have at these parties, and will help quickly identify the ones among us. Hopefully there'll be a big enough area for us congregate in comfortably..

Guys have to wear their name tags over their hearts.

Girls have to wear them on their crotches.

'Cos it just isn't a Fark Party without a bunch of drunken guys with their noses in all the girls' crotches.

/DC Farker, grew up in Jersey, will make a Jersey Party one day, just not this one.

Have fun, everybody!

I use to organize the Chicago Parties (please don't hold that against me) Name tags: Always! and you can always spot a farker.

BTW isn't there a Dayton Party coming up?

id think it's better for chicks to have the nametags on their chests..the guys have a better chance at seeing some milky white boob tops than of seeing some lower girlie bits ;)

AliceInWonderland: Name tags: Always!

because it's going to be such a big group i figured it'd be good but who knows if some of these people want everyone else to know they belong to a geeky internet society ;)

I understand, QueenBee, but the image of guys bending over and shoving their faces just below the ladies' waists to read a name tag is just priceless.

true! I did not think of that...although this is a restaurant type place as well as a bar..maybe if the next place is a dive bar we can get away with that with less strange looks ;)

Not sure about New Jersey but I think there wasn't any dancing last night in New York. Although with so much going on I might have missed it.

Since moving up here to Central Jersey and being exposed to the dbags that flood this area in the summer/attend MU, I'm only really capable of "fist pumping" as far as dancing goes.

Will there be fist pumping?

Monmouth. I consider an absence of fist pumping to be a good thing. :)

That's my 21st birthday but I'll be celebrating in the bars of New Brunswick.

Oh man, I'd so be fisting--I mean fist pumping if I were able to make it.

However, Freehold has nothing to offer me other than a probable DUI. I grew up in the area, and cops are looking to jump on you like a fat chick on cake.

It's NJ, everyone in NJ wears name tags for easy body identification.

I am going to have to put a vote in for a 609/856 Fark meet in the future.

Freehold is a mall with some car dealerships around it. Not really a town.

Steef, thank you for acknowledging the existance of Central Jersey. Since moving down here to the Sunterlands (hey, it is a garden state!) I've been baraged by South Jersey rednecks who can't understand that a state can be seperated into more than two geographic regions.
