Well, we've never done this before. But seeing as it's special circumstances and all, he says I can knock a hundred dollars off that Trucoat.

Now we had a deal. A deal's a deal.

Good lord, i tried to get groceries today and i was wondering why the bridge was closed

2008-03-21 04:51:53 AM
"The bridge is about 60 miles northwest of Minneapolis, Minnesota, where the Interstate 35W bridge collapsed August 1, 2007, during the evening rush hour, killing 13 people and injured 145."

Huh?

its the same design as the 35w bridge, its no big deal tho, the st. germaine bridge is like 300 feet away, so its still easy to get to highway 10

Jettero Heller: we should have the next fark party at the red carpet in st. cloud

Given the lack of quality drinking establishments in town, I guess the Carpet would suffice..

2008-03-21 05:23:30 AM
Now we just need to take care of the finder's fee.

2008-03-21 05:29:29 AM
No! No! See, a finder's fee isn't gonna do it for me at all!

2008-03-21 05:31:05 AM
No worries there ParadeCam, great minds think alike and all that. I'm just amazed that someone thought of the same scene right after I did. Kind of like that twilighty thing, about that zone.

They should close the Lafayette bridge in St. Paul while they're at it... it got a poorer rating than the I35W bridge. This summer I had to dive under it to assess the status of endangered freshwater mussels under it in case they start rebuilding in the next couple years. Now that was scary... 20 feet down, no visibility, with images of the bridge falling on my head

I've been in a couple of shows there - I love the wine bar that's attached. There is no dress code that I know of, but if you're going to see a friend in a show, a nice shirt and nice pants are generally a good idea.

Good ol' Sugar Daddy's! The girls there aren't half bad, but I'd rather be able to get real drinks.

Ok, "a major bridge" doesn't tell me which one actually closed. is it the one on 23 or 15?

US 61 at Hastings is the one I thought of when I saw the headline.
It is one of, if not the most structurally deficient bridge in the state, but so heavily used no one can come up with a good plan to shut it down.

Yeah, that's a crappy news article. "The bridge that crosses the Mississippi in St. Cloud." Hm... there's at least four of them that I can think of. Anyway, I'm pretty sure it's Hwy 23 - that's the one that was in the news last August, at least.

I think only 23 and 15 have four lanes, though. I'm guessing 23 as well.

No dress code, super laid back place. But do visit the wine bar. The guy that runs it is great, and you won't fine a better selection of alcohol anywhere in town.

Thanks, I was more worried about being overdressed.
Some of the spots he's performed in the cities are unwritten dress code type of crowd.
