I haven't taken a math class since highschool. I think I remember f'(x) being somehow the opposite of f (x), but I don't remember how that works. I feel like I should know this.

If f(x) = 200x2 + 400x +1, then f'(x) = 400x + 400, so f'(1) = 400(1) + 400 = 800.

Well a Triple wide home is probably about 2000-2500 sq. ft. and the homes are just like a regular home, but built in sections in a factory, then are put together onsite. This is not the "mobile home" of the 70's we are talking about here. They are now called Manufactured Homes and are not the trailer trash dwellings of the past. It always pisses me off when the news refers to someone's manufactured home as a "mobile home" there is nothing mobile about it. They are attached to the ground, they don't have wheels and they cannot just be driven around like a travel trailer or something. AND the new triple wide homes are not CHEAP they usually are deluxe homes with lots of high end appliances included. (and I don't even live in one) but is still pisses me off, do the news people ever say well these dogs were captured from a site built home, no they don't but they ALWAYS need to mention if it is a moblie home. Why can't they just say from a residence? does it really matter what kind of residence it is?

Also I learned something new today. Dogs don't lay eggs... and there is such a thing as a triple wide. If my redneck math is right that is in the 1800 to 2000 sq foot range.

Decades ago I used to buy pot from a guy who also raised chihuahuas.
I'm sure he had over 100 at any given time.
I think the minimum option for raising that breed is a hundred lot.
The yipping started as soon as any vehicle pulled to a stop.
Better than any alarm system.

I can't imagine what kind of unearthly noise came from that 3w.

This is the desert, lots of people live in manufactured homes, the stigma of mobile home==redneck is not so much here. Maybe it has something to do with being able to afford 6 acres of land and a Manufactured home for 1/4 of what a sitebuilt home on a 1/8 of an acre would cost you.

Final number looks to be 752 of the little yappers. This was so bad that several of them gave birth on the way to the Humane Society. We've done some fostering for the local Chihuahua rescue, so we're clearing a room right now since we're likely going to have an incoming land piranha or 5...

The derivative is the rate of change at a given pt in a function which is expressed as f(x) = some sort of line and the f'(x) is the tangent line of that function describing its rate of change...
