Suppose it's better than being traded to Guantanamo.

The Dallas Cowboys, the halfway house of the NFL. I guess we can look forward to signing Vick too.

In response to this, the Philadelphia Eagles have signed Inky, Pinky, Blinky, Cylde.

As a Cowboys fan, I will welcome him with open arms as long as Jerry gets him into the right kind of contract.

I'm a Cowboys fan; I desire Championships. I'll get my moral victories from somewhere else.

/Hoping beyond hope that Hicks loses the Rangers to Jerry in a poker game.

FTA :

On his suspension, he said, "I thought I was going to get back in eight games and then 10 games and then you sit out the whole year. It is hard watching the whole season go by when you know that you are better than 90 percent of the people that's out there.''

Wow. Just farking WOW. Does he actually believe that about himself?

i LOVE those owens pictures. Owens is my favorite player, he farking rocks. I love how dallas loves him. I think that he was right for trying to get out of SF the farking pit of the NFL there for a little bit (we're on the come up!!! i believe!!)

fixed that for him

As a Cowboys fan myself, I also want some more championships. I don't really care about morals, what I do care about is a team where all members are available to play all the time. I know this hasn't been an issue lately, but I don't want to see the roster fill up with a bunch of volatile, unpredictable players. That being said if Pacman has put his troubles behind him he will certainly be a welcome addition, and I'll cheer just as loudly as anybody.

I'm assuming he don't be meaning speaking english. If he means football, I just gotta laugh.

He meant "what's" out there, "...90 percent of the people what's out there".

Congrats Dallas, another reason to hate you with the burning passion of one thousand exploding suns.

Even better was Pacman's quote about how he's going to deal with the strip clubs and he has a stripper's pole installed in his home. I could imagine his agent gave him a wtf look on that quotable.

Didn't Pacman already run his mouth about this a month ago?

You win the thread, sir. Hands down. Golf clap for you!

If he ends up here, I'm cool with it as long as he stays clean. But it seems like someone asked him if he'd be OK with Dallas and he said yes. It's not like he's on the phone with Jerry every day trying to work something out.

Douchbag needs to be sealed up in a crate and airdropped on the South Pole.

Most teams shoot for 1st and 10. The Cowboys shoot for 5 to 10. It's the perfect place for him.

Dallas needs good cornerbacks. Pacman Jones was a good corner for the Titans. Therefore, who the fark cares if the guy is a wild dude who loves strippers, nobody's perfect, and his morals have nothing to do with football. If he makes the team better, then I don't give a fark, and neither would any of you hypocrites if he went to your team. Get of your high horses people, y'all are the same people who hate Ricky Wiliiams just for being a stoner.

To be fair, they went and signed a corner who was, you know... GOOD.

George Teague and Emmit responded appropriately to that transgression. What do you want them to go get his mother too?

Crap, Emmitt I meant.

Also, I do hope he stays away from my strip clubs.

If we get him for cheap, then I'll take him. Just cut him loose if he sucks or gets into trouble. We need another corner for Terrence Newman's mid-season injury rest.

good call the_cnidarian

Jerry Jones must be smoking a lot of crack. He has been taking lessons from the Raiders. Gets rid of the best players and brings in the worst thugs in the NFL. With all the free agents available he wants another gun wielding thug. Way to go Jerry.

Pretty sad when T-shirt and jersey sales become more important than wins.

If we get some key positions in the draft and buff up our O and D lines (Smith will probably be DE), we'll be in playoff contention in two years. If we can replace Alex "boy hands" Smith we'll dominate the NFC.

puffy999: monster87: I'm a Cowboys fan; I desire Championships.

Ooooh thems fightin words.

We may never win another championship, or we could win three in the next five years. Either way, I would always hope and expect for the Cowboys to make moves and to bring in elite players like T.O. and even pacman.

I think back to Toomers touchdown in the playoffs when he spun off henry and was basically gone. Man 1 tackle (made instead of missed) could have changed history. Why not get a guy with a history of being a good football player who could have made that damn hit... maybe he reads it intercepts it then runs it back, why not bring in a talanted guy who could do that? cause he's a thug life black guy?

gizmanjr: Pretty sad when T-shirt and jersey sales become more important than wins.

Uh.... what? Wins translate to jersey sales, but more importantly, ticket sales. First you criticize him for "signing a thug" (which hasn't happened yet, just FYI) and then you go off on making money vs. getting wins? Isn't Pacman one of the top corners in the league? And isn't the goal of every owner to make money? Please name me some owners who are not interested in making money (Green Bay is exempt from this question).

You're not even making sense. I'm assuming you were on crack yourself when you made that post.

Let me get this straight. The Titans wouldn't let him get touched in TNA for fear of him getting hurt and then they don't even take him back.

MoreCowbell!: . Why not get a guy with a history of being a good football player who could have made that damn hit... maybe he reads it intercepts it then runs it back, why not bring in a talanted guy who could do that? cause he's a thug life black guy?

The problem with Pacman is that you could lose him for the season at any point. He's talented but you need to weigh that against the possibility of another suspension. I'm not saying I wouldn't take him [I'll leave that up to BB & Pioli] but you have to understand why some people don't want him. It's risk vs. reward. I don't think he'd be a good fit in DAL personally because their coach is a softie.

As for the "thug life black guy" part- Lifestyle comes into play if it affects their on-field performance. If he's thug life and it doesn't keep him off the field it's a non-issue, which is the case with plenty of NFL players. The fact that he's black will not keep him out of the NFL.

dwade: Let me get this straight. The Titans wouldn't let him get touched in TNA for fear of him getting hurt and then they don't even take him back.

Injuries. You can't cut a hurt guy. They did not want to be stuck sitting on his contract while he nursed torn ligaments (ACL takes 18 months) and ruined ANY trade value he might have left (I'm thinking a box of little debby cupcakes) when they were just gonna drop him at the next opportunity anyway.

You know, it's funny, the Supreme Court will probably soon hold that the Second Amendment protects an individual's right to keep and bear arms. The law that Jones was convicted under will arguably be unconstitutional, probably within the next six months.

Not that you should let that keep you from bagging on the man. After all, he had guns!

/ Live in Virginia, where our state constitution forces local governments to respect an individual's right not to have his firearms ownership dictated to him by d**kless mama's boys and menopausal housewives who should STFU and iron my shirt.
