sounds like that bird's voice even went through puberty.

And his "pop goes the weasel" whistle had a pretty scary "pop" effect with his squawk.

Submitter here. Just returned from New Zealand with a renewed interest in their incredible avifauna and a penchant for Flight of the Conchords. If you google around a bit you can get mp3s of most NZ birds. The Kokako is unbelievable.
Also-found an mp3 of someone whistling the song of the huia. They've been extinct since 1907 which makes it very sad.

It has vocalization abilities quite like the Raven or Crow. Much lower register than typical psittacine speech. +1 to the bird.

Aww man. I would sooo plant a computer next to that bird endlessly playing clips of Stewie and Peter Griffin from Family Guy... Ehhh ehehehehehehehehe.
