It was a fun panel. They were obviously having a blast, seeing how many fans were waiting to see them again. In an auditorium set to hold 4,000 people, damn near every seat was filled, and the applause when they entered was thunderous! I've been a fan since the beginning, and it was f*cking AWEOMSE to finally have a chance to see Mulder & Scully in person!

And yeah, I was a Shipper at heart, but I preferred tension to romance in the actual show. I was disappointed when they finally kissed (even though I had stopped watching regularly by then.) It was better to imagine them getting together than to actually see it.

Sadly, there is a lot of crappy Shipper fic out there floating around with my name on it. My real name, too, so anyone who Googles me finds it. Lovely. It was flufferific. I thought giving my writing foreign language titles made it more worldly and artsy. *punches sixteen-year-old self*

Am I the only fan that remembers how horrible those last couple of years of X-files were? I felt extremely betrayed by both Duchovny and Chris Carter. It basically dissolved into a big heaping pile of dog poo and let me feeling empty after devoting years of loyalty to that show. Now they expect me to go and shell out money and line their pockets after that ridiculous series finale? Hell no. What story could they possibly have to talk about after that corner they've written themselves into? Even if I did eventually get interested, I'm downloading this one off the internet, I think after years of loyalty I deserve this freebie.

When I first started watching Californication, all I could think of was "that's Mulder".

Yep. I pretty much stopped watching when Xena showed up (and I actually like her in BSG), because you could tell they really didn't know where they were taking the story. The mythology stories just had too many types of aliens running around, without a really clear idea of how the different groups fit together, aside from that weird black goo/rabid gray link from the movie. By the time I gave up, I wouldn't be shocked if the Jose Chung aliens showed up at the end to save us from colonization.
