About a half hour ago shots were fired inside Cole Hall during a Geology class. My buddy was riding his bike and heard the shots from outside. He said at least 20 shots were fired. There are cops everywhere. I'm at the engineering building (far away) on lockdown. A friend in my class (that I should be in right now) called his girlfriend who was in that exact class and she's bleeding from bullet fragments, but OK. I don't have any more information at that moment. Everyone stay safe.

Its has been confirmed that there has been a shooting on campus and several people have been taken away by ambulance. All classses are cancelled on the DeKalb campus. People are urged not to come to campus. More information will be posted as it becomes available.

There has been a report of a possible gunman on campus. Get to a safe area and take precautions until given the all clear. Avoid the King Commons and all buildings in that vicinity.

I had to go back to class and take a quiz. It was really hard to concentrate with my phone vibrating like crazy.

That "20 shot" estimate was just that. I heard that from my buddy who was riding by the building on his bike at the time. Maybe the echo of Cole Hall made it sound like more.

Anyways, nothing new to report here. I hope everyone who was there is OK.
