This happened once in Calgary, but sadly it was the CFL team from Edmonton dropping Eskimos all over downtown Calgary. It didn't go over too well.

I live about 20 miles south of Wichita. Lots of corn and milo fields being harvested and those leaves flying around everywhere. There were a whole bunch of them just floating in the hot air above the road when I was driving home from work yesterday. It was like driving throug a cloud of them. Plus there were some dust devils I saw in the fields being worked, so probably the leaves just floated up and blew a few miles up the road and dropped in town.

Given how I feel about much of east Wichita though, I'm sorry to see it wasn't napalm falling from the sky :)
