I mean how stupid can you get? Do you really want to get shot? Because that's all I would see as a cop if I saw some kid sticking up somebody in a doorway, "OMG BUST A CAP IN HIS ASS LOLOLOL!".

The orange tip law has probably saved a great deal of lives, but when kids just take them off, paint over them, or buy imported airsoft guns, kind of takes the punch out of the law.

My father had an easy and permanent solution to this problem when my brothers and I would shoot BB's at each other:

Pistol whip each kid in the head repeatedly and throw the guns in the trash compactor while exclaiming "DO YOU WANT THE FARKING COPS TO SHOOT YOU YOU FARKING DUMBASSES! IS THIS WHAT I RAISED? A MAIN COURSE OF RETARD WITH A SIDE DISH OF STUPID?"

Childhood Prank Taken To Real-Looking Dangerous Level

ROSEVILLE (CBS13) ― It's an age-old childhood prank that's has taken a very dangerous turn. It's called Doorbell Ditch where kids ring the real-looking doorbell and then usually just run away. But Roseville police say some real-looking kids have added a potentially deadly twist to the prank...a fake real-looking gun.

When Roseville resident Brian Stark opened his real-looking door Sunday night, he found a real-looking 13-year-old boy pointing a real-looking gun in his real-looking face.

"We were eating dinner last night and the doorbell rang. I opened up the door and someone real-looking started shooting at me," Stark told CBS13, "I jumped back a little bit and could tell it wasn't real because I could see the real-looking plastic BBs bouncing off the walls real-lookingly."

Stark said he was shocked. But his concern is that the prank could have ended differently.

"I could have been carrying a real-looking gun. Not knowing that they were using a toy real-looking gun, I could have shot them." Stark explained.

Airsoft guns shoot plastic BB's but are designed to LOOK like the real thing. Some of the semi-auto versions have slides that blow back and everything. I doubt they will actually get shot back, which is too bad, but there are people out there that always answer the door gun in hand.
