My cat's a freak.

Cool picture Attic!

2002-10-28 01:56:39 PM
I started to read this article, but then I realized it was going to be boring.

2002-10-28 01:57:22 PM
Because Inside every dog is a white person.

2002-10-28 01:58:24 PM
Only via the flash can you see the true alien being that has possessed your pet.

2002-10-28 01:58:24 PM
Hey Attic, look down your shirt and spell your nick.

2002-10-28 01:58:52 PM
Because dogs are intrinsically good, and humans and cats are intrinsically evil. (Or, in the case of Attic's cat, intrinsically 100Base-T compatible--the left eye is apparently "link", and the right eye "activity".)

2002-10-28 01:59:23 PM
Because they can.

2002-10-28 01:59:25 PM
cause they demons mother farker

2002-10-28 01:59:33 PM
Because they can!

No wait, that's why they lick their own balls...

2002-10-28 01:59:48 PM
Beagles get green eyes.

2002-10-28 02:00:19 PM
More importantly:

Why does a dog lick his balls?

Because he can!

hehe...

2002-10-28 02:00:38 PM
Because they are gay ?

Still no cure for cancer

2002-10-28 02:02:22 PM
I bet Cerberus gets red eyes.

2002-10-28 02:02:43 PM
If humans get red-eye and dogs get blue-eye, do dogs get red balls?

2002-10-28 02:05:06 PM
The_marq:
so, you're 14 years old and just heard this joke for the first time.

I understand what they are saying, but it still boogles my mind. I mean, why does it look like that??

Cute pic Attic.

What dog has blue eyes in photos? My dog's eyes just end up glowing yellow in photos.

Mrcookieface I love your cute puppy pic!!

I haven't read the article, but if I had to guess I'd say it's probably because dogs are color blind. That is to say, their eyes don't have either the rods or the cones (right now I can't remember which one enables colored sight) which causes the reflection of the flash to be blue.

2002-10-28 02:20:34 PM
This is not entirely true, as I have a picture of my old dog flaring RED eyes. It was '77, the summer of Son of Sam, and my dog, named SAM, we called the demon dog, cause of the red eye picture, and the dog that talked to berkowitz. my dog could not talk, however. i don't think.
He sure as hell couldn't listen.

Thanks Kylie, that's actually my dog too.

2002-10-28 02:26:16 PM
As an odd thought for anyone who actualy read the article:

Can I get a tepatal layer put into my eyes? I want sever low light vision too. Plus, then when everyone has red-eye, I can have blue eye.

D

2002-10-28 02:26:50 PM
Hau'oli Haole...naw, he just didnt have anything interesting to say to you, that or maybe you just thought he couldnt talk, demon dogs are like that

2002-10-28 02:27:08 PM
Well, my dog's eyes are often red in flash photos. I don't get it....

2002-10-28 02:28:01 PM
I always knew both of them were 'different'.

2002-10-28 02:28:31 PM

AmyJK,
He'd have been a sorry excuse for a demon, he was afraid to go out at night. Had to carry him downstairs and watch him poop on the bottom step. Would not touch the ground. Also, the dog only barked at people he knew. Reverse watch dog, that's what else we used to call him.

2002-10-28 02:31:36 PM
Actually, I was in S. Africa, and learned that carnivores have red eyes, while the "prey" have both blue/green and yellow eyes.

2002-10-28 02:36:04 PM
thats interesting RyeGuy......really

2002-10-28 02:55:50 PM
Don't it make your brown eyes blue?

2002-10-28 02:58:28 PM
Mrcookieface I figured it was! I remember you mentioning that you had a few pugs...

2002-10-28 02:58:32 PM

Woof!

2002-10-28 02:58:38 PM

Usually, they are green. I don't know why these are red. I used a "red-eye" filter in PhotoStudio, which is tuned to human red-eye, and they turned green.

2002-10-28 03:05:53 PM
the "red eye" filter probably just adds the cyan colour to the eyes. If you buy one of those red eye pens at a camera store, it's just a cyan coloured marker. Cyan and Red are opposites, and will cancel each other out, leaving red eyes a neutral black/brown colour.

2002-10-28 03:14:13 PM
Dgodwin I knew that. I was just pointing out that after removing red, I got green eyes, which shows that this red-eye is different than human red-eye.

2002-10-28 03:24:55 PM
Non-green here too. Fscking scientists.
