What, 2x more accurate? 3x? Because algebra tells me it's still zero.

Dudes, he had the #3 QB rating in the league when he got hurt. With a bum elbow.

Does the rice have to be Chinese for this work? How about Spanish rice or Condoleezza?

I really think getting hurt was the best thing to happen for Delhomme's career (assuming he recovers 100%). He was firmly on the hot seat coming into last season, but those big first three games compounded with the awful QB play they had after he went down showed that he's the right guy for that team. I'm sure Steve Smith will whine a little less with Delhomme back at the helm, considering he could barely get a pass in his direction with him out.

And David Carr probably played his way out of the league with the pitiful performance he put out last year.

I'm still waiting for all those Farkers who told me I was an idiot, the Giants suck, and Eli manning is a bust.

Farking Bastige? Halfof33? Where you guys at? Enjoy the Superbowl?

he may look and sound like he installs vinyl siding, but i'd rather have him than 2/3 of the other nfl starting QBs.

I thought the rice thing was fairly common.

2/3? That's pushing it. He's the 11 or 12 QB in the league?

At least he knew how to throw to Steve Smith and tried to, you know, avoid getting sacked every other down. Unlike some other Panther QB I know.

Jake does pretty well for himself. He's hyperaccurate. He's just not a "gunslinger" whatever the hell that means, so announcers don't like him.

I remember years ago when roger clemens had a commercial for either nike, or reebok, whomever he had a contract with. In the commercial, He claimed that the jamming the pitching arm into rice thing was part of his training routine. I didn't know it had an official title, though.

Anyone want David Carr?

We'll give up a few cases of Gatorade and 3 seats of cleats.

Timtoews2000,

Didn't Nolan Ryan have that some commercial about 10-12 years ago?

That's nothing Jakey, I have been training for my dodge-ball league this off-season by funneling piping hot egg drop soup and cracking fortune cookies with my external sphincter.

I remember that commercial.

"You got a problem with that?"

I met Jake this week when he came into my bike shop to buy bikes for his family. He was a really nice guy, seemed excited to be able to start throwing again. I hope he makes it back from the surgery.

It's amazing to know that a rookie QB from Oregon State, who wasn't even that good, is a better quarterback than the former #1 pick.

/of course, Delhomme is better than either of them

Love Bojangles. They do a few things and do them well.

Like Delhomme. Hope he's back this season in full form.

/hate those ads he's in, though

If you hate those ads, you are a godless Commie farkin lib douche. How can anyone hate a commercial where he and Steve Smith throw footballs into a barn and the barn farking explodes?!?

Lenny and Carl

Actually, he was (as someone else already stated), in the top two or three QBs last year in YDS, TDS, RTNG, and a host of other stats before he got hurt. On a team with one receiver.

And before anyone spouts off about 'Steve Smith made Delhomme', look what ol Steve did for the rest of the season without Jake.

Watch football much?

Agreed. The best is still the "You complete me" spot.

Let's not forget Jake's overall passer rating was better than Peyton Manning at the beginning of the season. Jake is a great QB, he's just not loud and flashy.

/We cut Dan Morgan? ABOUT farkING TIME

Yeah, his concussion to game ratio was down too much this season.
