I wouldn't worry about the media propogating ways to make explosives. It's fairly simple to look up infamous titles online like anarchist/terrorist's cookbooks. They'll not only teach you how to make the explosives (even fairly complex plastic ones), but plenty of different triggers ranging from cigarettes to pagers.

Baldactor: really, ignorance affects a person's bias so profoundly, (especially the "average" American's bias) that the two can easilly be interchanged, though that's a good point. Anyway, it just bothers me the way people make sure to write "Islamic fundamentalists" and "Muslim militants" instead of just using the same sort of language that they would use to describe Christians (and to a certain extent Jews). No one says "Jewish temple" or "Christian place of worship"; it's synagogue and church. That was a bit of the bias I was complaining about.

LOL, anyone ever read the Jolly Roger Cookbook and other "anarchy" literature? This stuff is at least a decade old. I remember the disk bomb: matchhead shavings, clear nail polish, and a 3.5" floppy. Ok, everyone making excuses for this guy can shut the fark up, please. He's a terrorist plain and simple. I for one do not make exceptions to people who want to blow up innocent civilians based on their religion. Anyone who does is a stupid idiot with a perverted sense of morality.

We don't know whether this guy was planning on blowing up these buildings while they were empty or when they were full. The police have access to his plans and if he was indeed planning to blow up a mosque full of people then he deserves a severe asskicking.

As it is, I'm going to assume the guy is Jewish, because of his last name, just as I would assume someone with the last name of Bakr or Muhammed is a Muslim. Most Jewish people I know are pacifistic and wussy. It just seems to be their nature. That's why those Jewish terrorists who blew shiat up in Israel in the 1940s gave warnings about what they were going to blow up. Jewish terrorist bombers have a track record of not being terribly cruel in their bombings, and the modern Jewish religion seems a lot less fanatical than most fanatical stripes of religion, so I'm going to say that he probably was just targeting the buildings and not the people in them. Course he is still a terrorist asshat no matter what his intentions were, and still should never ever see the light of day.
