On a 1-10 scale of corny humour I give that a 5. On a scale of actual humour it's more of a 0. ;-)

LadyBinky: I have never been this stressed out by an election. All the candidates except Obama are somewhere on the scale of terrifying or despicable.

THIS

If Obama's not in the presidential election, I will withdraw in disgust. ("Withdrawing in disgust is not the same as apathy.")

It's typical Clinton fact twisting and lying. She agrees to do one thing, then does another. She did it in Michigan where she agreed not to campaign, then did... she did it in NV where she agreed to have caucuses in casinos, then fought against them... and now she does it in Florida. Bill is out there, and as usual, he's fast and loose with facts, when he isn't misleading, he's outright lying. Honestly, regardless of Obama, I just can't fathom why anyone would be pro-Clinton again... even her politics of personal destruction campaign has clearly demonstrated that what we can expect from Hillary is more of the same brand of politics and divisiveness that has brought this country to its knees.

If she gets the nomination, I am starting a committee to withdraw Florida from the Union for being disinfranchised.

This is pure bullshiat and if they rig it so she gets Florida's delegates, I will be pissed.

No more Clintons in the White House.

crazy_gaijin: I'm not pro-Hillary, but I find it hard to consider it a tie if she's the only one that actually participated. As far as delegates go, it's a tie, but overall, I can see how it could be considered a win for Hillary.

Yeah. I always promise not to play Monopoly with my friends. Then, when they don't play, I claim victory. It's great!

She'll get the delegates (Michigans too) and will get the nomination. Better get started on your committee.

Sen. Clinton attempts to spin a zero-zero tie as a win

of course she did.

it's amazing that so many people ( mostly women ) in their zeal to elect a woman would so blindly support someone like her. The Clintons and their hate machine are both shameful and shameless. it is funny to watch other Dems though react with shock and outrage at the Clinton's tactics against Obama.....as though they haven't ALWAYS been that way. I guess this new sense of decency will be short lived if she wins the nomination and uses the same dirty and nasty tactics against some evil Republican.

I agree with the sentiment, but why the misused apostrophes? I'm not one of those grammar nazis who points this stuff out in regular posts, but in a graphic designed to support a political cause? That's as shameful as the guy with the "moran" sign.

not reading the comments, but no one campaigned there. Clinton won the vote, even if it wasn't for any delegates. Didn't Obama in a recent primary/caucus claim that he won because he got more delegates, even though Clinton won the vote? Everyone does it. Dem, Repub... take your pick.

gonzoimperial: She held fundraisers in Florida and staged a rally tonight. Those are things that the candidates agreed not to do quite a while back. She won because she lied.

In other words, she's everything we'd expect from your run-of-the-mill politician.

At least she puts her lying right out there and doesn't try to hide it. So there's that, I guess.

Most folks are missing something here.

big>She DID win Florida. And just because the delegates aren't count doesn't mean she lacks support there.

A vote is a vote, and in the general election, winning Florida, California, New York and Texas (or any combination thereof) can have a huge effect.

Also, I watched her last night, and I came away with the sense that she was there to tell the voters THANK YOU for taking the time to come out. That kind of gratitude can carry her down the road.

/im not for or against anyone-- I'm just calling it how I see it

UnkleKrakker: So she 'won' in the State that can't figure out how ballots work, was stripped of its delegates and has its own Fark tag?

She will play this unopposed, cheating outcome as a victory and comeback.

The press will continue to support her.

She will get the delegates.

I really wish that Pennsylvania's primary actually mattered. It's on April 22. Whoop-de-freakin-doo. I really want to make my vote count against Hillary.
I have actually considered the thought of voting Republican if she becomes the nominee. And then I smacked myself and cried.

I'm voting McCain if she gets the nomination. I may disagree with him on a lot of issues, but at least I know I disagree with him. Hillary triangulates too much, and then comes out with some bullshiat non-statement. I know where McCain stands, and he has the yarbles to stand up to both the Democrats (on the war in Iraq) and his own party (on torture and immigration).

Hillary has said nothing about torture.

Hillary has said she like both diamonds and pearls. At least I know where she stands on that.

What is Barack Obama doing submitting headlines on Fark?

2008-01-30 10:54:43 AM
Its simple folks, all going to go like this:

McCain will take the R nomination, thats plainly obvious.

If Obama wins the D nomination (I hope), he will take the presidency as well.

If Hilly wins the D nomination, the R's will spend the next few months picking her apart to gain the undecided vote. Combine that with the standing R vote, and all the D's who cant stand Hilly it will become a republican landslide.

There are too many people who just cant stand Hillary. Sure she will win some states, but most likely not enough.

I also think its funny when people suggest her win in FL will influence other states. I mean really, its Florida.
