Workers at the egg farm said the fire appeared to start near an incubator where eggs are placed when they are first shipped to DeCoster. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

We had a poultry farm in a wildland fire area, and the foul stench when the feathers burn... holy crap. And the feathers, when they burn, create--arsenic? Forgot the compound it makes. Something poisonous like that.
