I don't think it's "rules and regulations" as much as common sense that are her problem.

I wonder why she's divorced.

(Not really.)

I am going to use that excuse.

I had, in my mind, taken out the trash.

I do a lot of things in my mind. Occasionally I find that I really thought I had actually done something. Not usually for important things though, like picking up more beer. I also get dreams where people do things, and then experience the weird phenomenon where it feels very real. I've hit many a b/f for dreamcheating. Of course when I do it, it doesn't count.

This was a problem? One of the best times of my life was when i was 15 and my father had to go on business for 4 weeks. It also fell on top of christmas vacation, he left me food and cash, I spent wisely, moved into the living room and just had a blast, why did this girl ruin it?

/woke up covered in melted m$m's
//good times

Did the daughter spend her time defending her home from a pair of burglars using simple but clever traps and witty insults?

Then why will the media be calling her "the home alone kid"?

2008-01-18 10:50:49 AM
I bet the daughter didn't mind. When I was 14 that would have been one of my wildest dreams.

Methinks that, in the Judges mind, there'll be a lot more of that.

This, womenz be damn hypocrites! You end up just not telling her anymoe.

When I was 14, I would have no problem being left alone for a week.
6 weeks seems like a long time, though.

Well let's be fair here a moment shall we? She should be given a pass, because we all know that guys are expected to read a woman's mind about everything already. The husband then is clearly at fault. She was transmitting, if he wasn't receiving then it's a problem on his end.

/glad I could help

In my mind, i've every bit as witty as you other Farkers.

Wait, after six weeks no one noticed the absence of the mother? Either he doesn't deserve visitation rights or that kid has her shiat together.

My parents did this when I was a teenager too.

I turned their house into a brothel, then wrecked my dads Porsche.

No, you're only supposed to be able to read her mind on an emotional level (within 5 or 6 emotstroms of her actual mood). Actual telepathy is something they're working on now.

In my mind commenting here is every bit as important as doing the damn housework.

But what an asshat. Sad thing is I've met a million like her. In fact I can see her now, despite the (fortunate) lack of pictures. Hint of chav with a dash of council-estate. I wonder why she can't be identified...

FTFA: "Social services were alerted to the girl's situation after only two days and arranged for her father, also the woman's ex-husband, to look after her for the remainder of her mother's holiday."

You have, in your mind, nothing

Is it just me, but when I read British English I feel like I'm reading something that has been badly translated from Indian or Greek.

What do you think xanadian?

2008-01-18 11:02:29 AM
While I have no doubt the average 14 year old could fend for herself for a few days, six weeks indicates that things like bills and repairs would come up. What about mortgage, rent, utilities?

Not to mention, Even when I was home alone at seventeen, I was scared at night sleeping in our house all by myself.

i had in my mind really gotten a kick out of these replies...

An unemployed benefit blagger?

Nice try, douchebag, but no.
