They shot most of this movie in my home town, so of course it's gonna be epic. It was quite creepy driving along some of the roads and seeing rows and rows of wooden crosses. I think the goths in the neighbourhood thought they'd died and gone to wherever goths want to go when they expire. Assuming goths are mortal, that is.

I'd call that less "crossing" those two movies and more "ripping off everything that was decent in them in an attempt to disguise the fact that we didn't have an original story to tell."

Just what I was thinking.

Oh, and just for fun, can we please stop making movies with badass hot chicks in it? They already have jobs in porn, let's not get away from reality tooooo much.

British movies are just American movies one year later.

I don't care what anyone says, I'm looking forward to some mindless, futuristic, apocalyptic feel good movie!

You know, she's not even that hot.

Resident-Under-Raider-Flux: evolution of the cradle of evolution.

/Okay, that's a work in progress

It stars someone named "Sean Pertwee?" That's a name I would be changing.

i like it the first second third and fourth times when it was called Outbreak, 28 Days Later, 28 Weeks Later and I am Legend...

Actually, Sean Pertwee is pretty cool. Check him out in Love, Honour and Obey. It's a great Brit gangster flick. Cheers.

LMAO! You know, if the guys who did Airplane and Naked Gun came back - and killed the talentless hacks who make the ScaryMovie films - that should be the title of their comeback flick.

Wow...a zombie movie with a skinny, cold and deadly woman in it .

I did like the guy shouting "THIS...IS...SPAR..er..OUR CITY!" That seemed original.

Me too. I will watch damn near any post-apocalyptic movie, no matter how bad. They are the kryptonite to my otherwise supreme taste in film. I am powerless to resist.

I was wondering if I was hearing things. Good to know I'm not the only one that noticed that.

I would've liked Kate Beckinsale or Mila Jovovich in this one. Still, I'll see this Resident-Escape-From-13-Days-Of-Shawns-Outbreak

I've seen all the ones they ripped off for this, so of course I'll see this.

Rhona Mitra : Kate Beckinsale
Charlie Sheen : Tom Cruise

Considering that the name reminds people that he's the son of a cult sci-fi favorite, and this is a cult sci-fi movie, I'd say not.

SharkUW: Haven't we had enough god damned zombie movies yet?

No.

Every time I see something like this, I wonder what Ewe Boll is up to these days.

Not much, according to stories on the main page.

No. I've been using them as training videos for the upcoming Zombie Apocalypse.

biobot: I think the goths in the neighbourhood thought they'd died and gone to wherever goths want to go when they expire.

That made me laugh.

I like how that--in the future--if you live in a walled-off city and/or roam the highways looking for gas, you have to get a mohawk.

This.

Also, isn't Rhona Mitra one of the models that was the living incarnation of Tomb Raider?

The thought of Afrikaans-speaking goths made me giggle uncontrollably.

He's long been a favorite of mine. I'm surprised that Fark movie-goers don't remember him from '95's "Blue Juice" in which they can also see a very young and very hot Catherine Zeta Jones.

Pertwee's also a pretty good surfer. He's been spotted at several Cornish beaches by my daughter.

On another matter, the Yahoo clip player sucks rocks. Has anyone spotted this clip elsewhere (it's not on the Apple site).

Sure it might be Escape from Mad Max 28 Days Later but it's still entertainment. The fact that I have a really big thing for tough women with lethal weaponry is by pure chance....

There was zombies in this?

Where the hell are you farkers seeing zombies?

"Doomsday takes place three decades after a lethal virus called the Reaper nearly wipes out Scotland and causes the rest of the world to wall off the country. When the Reaper begins to emerge in another country 30 years later, an elite team and their leader (Rhona Mitra) are sent to the contaminated landscape of the walled-off country to find a cure."

Yeah, no zombies.

NO! We need more. Preferably more good ones, but we can get by on the usual mediocrity and still be partially satisfied.

They aren't even trying anymore.
So a movie worth making is just a mash up of 3 others plus a skinny lead role chick?
Pathetic.
