I know Scott Thornton of the LA Kings does a lot of biking (there were quite a few newsbits about that hobby of his when he was on the Sharks), so I imagine that he might actually be able to make a good guess or analysis about the TdF.

Spec Racer Ford. For about 15k startup cost, you get an engine-and-transmission spec racer. Its all about the driver.

/CFO says I can have one when the garage is cleaned out!

Spec racer fords are nice and all. But since I have no real designs on anything I was just gonna go with a shifter Kart for about 3k. Those things are wicked fast.
