Oh, A_D, you rapscallion, you. I bet you couldn't go more than 24 hours (not including trolling timeouts) without badmouthing Clinton.

You'll be unintentionally in on that if she's elected.

Don't mind if I do.

Not so much her human side
As it is a human hide
That she'll slip into and wear
When the cameras come to bear

"New Year's morning I got ready to go out and campaign, and Hillary looked at me and said, 'You know for the first time in all these years we've been together I am absolutely certain that you do love me.'

Sounds like a rock solid marriage to me.

I believe Hillary acted as an enabler for what is wrong with the country right now; Patriot Act and Use of Weapons in Iraq come to mind. To let presidential signing statements begin and continue nary a whimper is the third. She will not get my vote.

Maybe at the time she figured she would'nt ever have any children of her own, due to her looks and she wanted to help out other kids. It was either that or end up being the crazy lady with 500 cats

It's not her fault, though. The dumbest man who ever walked the earth tricked her into it. Then he played on our fears.

So far, 4 of the 7 posts have been bashing Hilary while providing no substance whatsoever, and a fifth post consisted of someone going "chichichichichahchahchahcha". I don't know what it is about her that people dislike so much. The only real problem I have with her is that she will be a lame duck as people in this country don't believe that policy is the foundation for their support to a given candidate.

THAT statement says a lot about the phoniness of them both. No wonder there wasn't a pile of Bill's shiat on the White House lawn after the Lewinsky shiat. According to him, ahe never really thought he gave a rat's ass about her in the first place, so she wasn't really surprised.

Wow.

You mean the side that has repeatedly forgiven him for affairs with other women?

The only reason this woman stayed with him is her political ambitions. If she had dumped him, I would have far more respect for her.

I hope she gets the nomination and then loses the election. I think there's a real good chance of having a hostage situation if she loses. Seeing her all crazy-eyed holding a gun to a campaign staffer's head on CNN would really make my day.

I don't have a vehement hatred for the woman, but how can anyone vote for her after how she acted during the buildup to the Iraq war? She was in lockstep with the administration the whole time. Her defense of, "gee, I had no idea Bush was really going to do it..." is simply ludicrous. A farking blind, deaf, and dumb 5 year-old could have seen that Bush was preparing to invade Iraq no matter what.

Anyone that susceptible to mindless patriotic fervor shouldn't be president.

Besides the grammar mistakes, that is an insightful post. I concur with your views.

Or in other words, THIS.

Did you get lost here on your way to the NPR messageboards? If you think this thread is bad, just wait until Farkers start mocking something you really care about.

Not from the States so having a hard time understanding why the Clintons are percieved as being so bad - particularily in light of the current administration. Or is this still about the whole bowjob thing?

Of course they knew what he was doing, but the saber rattling going on at the time meant that doing the right thing and voting against war would hurt them politically. It had nothing to do with patriotism.

I think Obama had it right in saying that to have more than half the people hating you before your nominated is not a good thing.

Agreed. Back then, the people who I converse with on matters such as politics were completely dismayed with the underlying hatred disguised as patriotism. It was the most disgusting reversal of national attitude I'd ever witnessed. We went from "9-11, never forget" to "glass parking lot" (of a country not even involved pray tell) due to the fearmongering of our leadership. Hillary's voting record is for all to see. She was part of the problem, she was not leading. This part of her history is inexcusable.

It's not really stupid. She is a nasty, horrible person in real life, and her public life consists of sticking her finger in the air, taking opinion polls then openly lying to whatever audience she's speaking to saying she believes whatever they believe. Then talking to a group that doesn't believe that thing the next day saying she doesn't believe it either.

That said, the other candidates are all the same way as well. One who dedicates her/his entire life to the acquisition of power is rarely, if ever, a good person by the time she/he is about to achieve her/his ultimate goal.

Just the way it is.
