It's a perspective thing. The shark is much closer to the camera than the kayak, so looks bigger.

Same ploy used by people holding out fish, snakes, or whatever. Next time you see a pic stating "OMG LOOK HOW BIG!!11", check to see if the person holding it has their arms stretched out in front of them.

I think this is the one where the guy in the helicopter was asking the shark if he new the way to Oakland. That was some crazy shiat!

It's an old photograph on a new article. Nothing new, but who gives a shiat. The original publication was pretty obscure for most of us not living in S. Africa.
