I always thought getting penis implants in jail was a bad thing. I've never been in jail, so I could be wromg.

Let's see if this link works any better:

Wheeeeee

I'd put a penile into that babe anchor on the top of the page.

"Now the questions is whether Commeau really did receive an implant while a prisoner and, if so, why?"

Okay, how the heck does a prisoner get an penile implant WHILE in jail?

I think this story should've had the tag.

The only "penile implant" this guy deserved was one from Prisoner Ben Dover.

Ridiculous.

""The psychologist that saw Mr. Commeau had contact with him, treated him while he was serving his last 20-year sentence, made it very clear that he was a sexual predator, that he would absolutely reoffend. And of course he did. And that Commeau had talked openly in prison about how he was going to find his next victim," Murphy said.

...

As for Commeau, he's maintained all along that he's an innocent man."

Maintained when? Oh yeh...in court. Smart guy. Too bad we let this guy out, but you'd think 20 years hard time would do something to the guy. Namely, make him more pissed off and more likely to try to get away with as much as possible. I'm not sure I understand the implant thing. Was it to make his dong bigger? Help him get it up?

Am I the only one who thought about these?

One word for this guy:

NUT-ECTOMY

He's probably got quite a few penile implants in jail - but from fellow inmates!!

"Murphy says he was injured while doing time at Thomaston."

i can hardly wait to hear the story behind that. another inmate cut his junk off, maybe? and they had to reattach it and give him an implant to replace lost tissue?

OH MY GOD why am i even going down that speculative road... i hate you, fark.

well, at least you know the implant won't go to waste.

9 out of 10 rape victims agree:
"My rapist couldn't even get it up, now I'm guarenteed 20 minutes of the most agonizing horror any women could experience. Thanks, Dr. Nick!"

Our penal system supports anal implants; is it not a bit anal to also support penile?

or is it the other way around?

Doesn't look like Fark will be needed a penile implant any time soon, seeing how fast that site was farked.

Did the link ever work in the first place? The whole site is unavailable at the moment. Neither link above worked for me.

What exactly does a penile implant do? Does it replace some functionality that's lost, like the ability to get an erection?

Lawyer: Convicted rapist may have received penile implant in prison

PORTLAND -- If it's true, it could be a story as horrifying as the crimes he committed: Did the state give serial rapist the surgery he needed to rape again? The lawyer for his latest victim believes that's just what happened, and now she's going to court to get his medical records.

Two years ago, Michael Commeau put on a mask, picked up a knife and kidnapped the 26-year-old woman he'd been stalking in Monmouth.

He forced his way into her car, made her drive to a secluded area and raped her.

"My client's life has been damaged beyond repair, really. I mean, she was working alone at her job, was abducted from the parking lot of her job, and she thought during the whole ordeal that he was going to kill her," said Michaela Murphy.

Michaela Murphy's client testified against Commeau at his trial, where prosecutors told the judge that Commeau -- three times convicted of rape in Maine -- was suspected of attacking as many as 10 women.

But that wasn't the only surprise.

In his closing argument, the prosecutor revealed that Commeau has a penile implant, something unknown to the victim but that explained her description of something mechanical about the attack.

The prosecutor never told the victim about it because he had to convince the jury the woman had ID'd the right man.

He did. Commeau got 50 years.

It was only later, Murphy says, that investigators told the victim that Commeau had received that implant while serving 20 years at the Maine State Prison for rape.

"The psychologist that saw Mr. Commeau had contact with him, treated him while he was serving his last 20-year sentence, made it very clear that he was a sexual predator, that he would absolutely reoffend. And of course he did. And that Commeau had talked openly in prison about how he was going to find his next victim," Murphy said.

Now the questions is whether Commeau really did receive an implant while a prisoner and, if so, why?

Murphy says he was injured while doing time at Thomaston. But that's about all she knows. State officials say they can't talk about individual prisoners.

As for Commeau, he's maintained all along that he's an innocent man.

There's too much penile being implanted in prison.

2002-10-17 10:07:18 AM
Reminds me of the penile boast "Hard as prison steel and long as a life sentence".

:)

I thought life saving surgery for death row inmates was ridiculous, this takes the cake. Is there a blind man in the penal institution (hehe) hospital that has an "approved" stamp for medical procedures?

2002-10-17 10:09:45 AM
The poor man. Imagine how badly his self esteem would have suffered without the state wisely eleviating his affliction. Everyone knows that our society will be judged by how we treat the least among us. Finally, we're getting some good liberal philosphy implemented in our treatment of rapists. You go, boys !

Congrats to Hytes Xian for the only witty comment in a thread I'd pretty much given up on.

never mind the implant, why is he allowed to keep his penis?

"Now the questions is whether Commeau really did receive an implant while a prisoner and, if so, why?"

One must also ask why the City of San Francisco provides free sexual "reassignment" surgery (surgical mutilation on demmand) and psychological services to employees and their "friends", committed or not.

Anybody for ann "addadicktome"?

Sick-o.

Apparently, this guy got hurt while in prison and hence the state had to "fix him UP"... mmmmm... What was he doing to get hurt in that way? Oh well... My taxes at work!

2002-10-17 01:34:48 PM
Anyway, a stapled penis won't work very well...

Especially if you use concrete staples to tack his tallywacker to his cell wall.
