If I had the patience i would love to raise and tame a cougar.

I know people who have bobcats as pets, they are only about twice the size of a house cat and they are legal in a lot of places.

A Serval would be really cool, they are still a bit to wild. I hope an F1 or F2 Savannah Serval will come down in price from 2k to 500bucks...It's a new breed, it could happen.

Did someone say Orange County cougar?

www.buddytv.com

Homeowner Jo Ann Merrell said she was watering wetting her plants pants when she saw the animal 25 feet away from her.

Fixed that for 'em...

When is the last time anything was afraid of this?

I bet that cougar will tell his friends it was 4 Rottweilers, if he mentions it at all.

I need some help here. There was a mean discussion at Christmas over the age a woman can be called a cougar. My cousin was saying 30, which was pissing off this older sister (who is 32). She was saying at a minimum, it would be 40.

What do you guys think qualifies a woman to be a cougar?

It's science.

They're mountain lions in Orange County. I was running in a park near my sisters house in Rancho Santa Margarita and encountered a female mountain lion with a cub. It scared me to death. There was no way I was going to win that fight. The mountain lion was grunting at me and I slowly retreat the way I came. Lucky for me the mountain lion did not attack.

About 6 months later, at another nearby park a mountain lion attacked and killed a person on a mountain bike.

There is mountain lions in Orange Country.

I think it has to do with her prey. Maybe a 10-year age differential?

2008-01-01 04:56:35 PM
Editor's Note; steveGswine is making an awesomely snarky reference to Snocones profile-which is also a dead giveaway to where her screen name comes from, I'd bet dinner @ the Foxfire on it

Well, I'm 26. Guess that solves that.

lol I didn't even catch that. But alas, I do not qualify as a cougar. I am the tender age of 26.

35 is really the cutoff for cougars- and a full-fledged cougar is a divorcee.

But colloquially it's ok to lightheartedly refer to any woman dating a younger man as a "cougar" even if she's in her 20s. Oh, the delicious joys of irony.

Snocones: What do you guys think qualifies a woman to be a cougar?

My guess is when the last child moves out a milf becomes a cougar (this means goes away to college as well).

If the child is older than say, 20, and still lives at home, sorry, no cougar for you

COUGAR = Older Woman on the prowl

My ex girlfriend had a Shelty and it understood French and English. Her parents were French and spoke fluent french and english. The dog responded to commands in both languages.

Gotta be 40, since that's when you're "over the hill."

Hooray! Shelties and cougars all in one thread!!!!

\Miss my sheltie, who went to the big dog park in the sky three years ago.

\\loves ogling the cougars just as much as the shelties. And they are more fun to pet!

What a wussy cougar. I'm amazed it didn't see the sheltie as a snack.

That kitty should be ashamed, for being treed by a Sheltie. All the other mountain lions will laugh it to death for letting itself be chased away by a miniature collie, which isn't even known for being a tough dog.

In other news, that K9 officer who ordered his dog to take the guy down on that San Diego overpass probably feels awful today...

40+. 36 is just cougars-in-training. Unless you're looking at it from a 16 year old's POV.

Ha ha the Foxfire. The first time I went there I was 22 years old and got a lesson on horny older women.
Now I live right down the street but never go.
