Meh, he would have had the same number of playoff wins and less playoff trips.

Archie?

Yeah, Eli sucks. I mean, he hasn't even won a superbowl yet. All he's done is gone to the playoffs three consecutive years and won a division championship. What a crap career.

IMHO, Accorsi was a good GM and subby fails.

ArthurPutey: Archie?

Thats the first thing I thought as well, "they hired his dad?"

FreakinB: IMHO, Accorsi was a good GM and subby fails.

Yeah Eli isnt that bad of a QB, his line is average and his receivers are crappy. Would have loved to have him in atlanta rather than the dog killer any day.

I wasn't even referring to Eli. I think he's average. But Accorsi made some good moves with the whole team and gave them enough talent to get them to the playoffs 3 years in a row. Example: finding Osi in the 3rd round (IIRC). As far as "crappy" receivers, Plax Burress and his big year despite never practicing would like a word with you. And I think Toomer and Shockey are solid.

Giants recievers aren't crappy, although they aren't elite either. The big problem on their end is drops though. Giants would have won at least one or two more games this year if they didn't have all those drops.

Is this the game thread?

Geez armani toomer is still playing? Is he 60 yet? I like burress but hes inconsistent a lot of times and is prone to drops, I like shockey but he has the dropsies sometimes as well. I find it funny that a lot of giants fans hate on eli so much when hes a workable QB and just needs a little help.

B-b-but Eli Manning is unstoppable just like some watch

Dear everyone, including Giants fans: Eli Manning is a fine quarterback. Is he a future Hall of Famer? I doubt it, but stop being asshats just because he isn't his brother.

Yeah that would suck to have him as a brother and you played the same position, kinda like being a engineer with Einstein as your brother.

What I loved about the whole Bobby Petrino fiasco was the number of people who were calling Arthur Blank a "good owner."

Please. He's the John Waters-mustachioed douchebag who gave Michael Vick a fat-ass contract that will be a millstone around this franchise's neck for years, even after all the signs were there that Ron Mexico was an immature, irresponsible asshat who could very well end up in big trouble. And he's the one who brought in a college coach who'd proven that he'd jump to another job at the drop of a hat.

So why is he such a great owner, anyway?

AJ Smith?

Archie Manning?

Oh, and Robert1966, Eli is a whiny, little biatch who would rather piss and moan in a bottle of Busch Lite than show some maturity on and off the field.

/almost cheered last night when the Pats-Giants game was shut off at the sports bar in favor of the UFC bout.
//mainly because the jerks in the Manning and Brady jerseys started making asshats of themselves.
///Go Chargers :)

Madden's big point now: because the Colts have taken out their best defensive players, the Titans might find it easier to score.

No shiat?
