I have friends who are prison guards. They almost talked me into applying once upon a time.

I sat down and really thought about how that job had changed my friends though. It brought out the worst in them.

Decided not do to it. Never regretted it.

You and me both, friend. I've been doing my best to not go to jail. Why would I do so for just money?

Why is a video from August in Cincinnati making news in Baltimore in December?

I really wish I could watch that with sound... Holy white f*cking trash, Batman. Maybe sweater guy could lend that skinny bastard's mom some teeth.

2007-12-18 02:14:35 PM
who cares...the guard gave an order and he didn't comply. what were the guards suppose to do walk away throwing their hands in the air saying "I don't know....we tried but he doesn't want to listen nothing more we can do here."

Paedophile_Deluxe: Maybe sweater guy could lend that skinny bastard's mom some teeth.

Looks like it runs in the family, his momma was fine example of our very best TPT dentistry.

Who needs teeth when you've got meth?

Wonder what he did before that. The special teams aren't called in for typical bad behavior. You really f*cked up when they bring the riot team in on your ass.

2007-12-18 02:28:04 PM
I don't think they used enough force

2007-12-18 02:28:42 PM
I don't think they had to keep shooting him once he was cuffed, but that first shot was right on the money. They asked him to do something, told him if he refused to comply they were going to shoot him, counted down from five, and THEN shot him.

I mean, they warned him six times he was going to get shot, and the idiot didn't listen.

Trunks: who cares...the guard gave an order and he didn't comply. what were the guards suppose to do walk away throwing their hands in the air saying "I don't know....we tried but he doesn't want to listen nothing more we can do here."

Yeah, right... strapped in a chair he was a real danger and not complying.... fukkin asshat pigs are as bad as any punk gangbanger.

Err.. I can't be alone in thinking "just kill the guy".. he appears to serve no purpose in this world.

Police take away your apostrophe key, submitter?

I love the caption: "Caught on Tape"

Looks like they taped it themselves. Gotchya!

Wow, did they just discover Stereo? That was the worst sound split I've ever heard.
/Liked when the kid grabbed the beer in the commercial, though. Like some 10 year old kid would even want to drink a beer. GMAB

I'd split your skull with the butt of this revolver, faster than you could say "police brutality." ...

I call it "a little from column A" and "a little from column B". Or just a nexus of a lifetimes full of bad choices.

counted down from five, and THEN shot him.

The guy got his Due Process.

2007-12-18 02:41:35 PM
I see no problem shooting him through the cell to get him out, but once they had him it was unnecessary to shoot him from point blank range. And the pretty please shiat was way out of line.

Policemen so cherish their status as keepers of the peace and protectors of the public that they have occasionally been known to beat to death those citizens or groups who question that status."

I thought that building looked familiar. Cincinnati cops could teach LA and Chicago police a few things. Despite the freezing weather and snow here, I very happy I moved away from there.

A quote from the lead researcher in the Stanford Prison Experiment;

Our planned two-week investigation into the psychology of prison life had to be ended prematurely after only six days because of what the situation was doing to the college students who participated. In only a few days, our guards became sadistic and our prisoners became depressed and showed signs of extreme stress.

If guards became sadistic in only a few days in a fake prison, imagine how they must become in a real prison after a few years on the job.

2007-12-18 02:44:14 PM
Oh those poor, poor criminals. What did they ever do to deserve being shot with a toy gun?

2007-12-18 02:44:29 PM
Pepper balls? Isn't that what you get being in prison and being someones biatch? Pepper balls.

Either that or

"That's a spicy pepper ball!"

nashBridges: They asked him to do something, told him if he refused to comply they were going to shoot him, counted down from five, and THEN shot him.

Yep. "Five, four, three BLAM"

real shaman: Yeah, right... strapped in a chair he was a real danger and not complying.... fukkin asshat pigs are as bad as any punk gangbanger.

Again, if he complies with the orders he was from the beginning it does not get to the point that it did in the chair.

real shaman: Yeah, right... strapped in a chair he was a real danger and not complying.... fukkin asshat pigs are as bad as any punk gangbanger.

Quick, somebody call the WAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHMBULANCE....

No he wasn't posing a threat, none of you wannabe whiney babies poses a "danger". He wasn't cooperating. He got what he deserved.

Your right to be uncooperative ceases the second you do something stupid enough to land your ass in jail.

I've seen all kinds of cops, including a few "pigs" that you speak of. But I'd still take them over your crybaby-ass any day of the week.

2007-12-18 02:45:14 PM
The idiot got what he deserved and I think that's the reaction of most people that see the tape.

However... if the guy had been black you know Jesse and Al would be standin' on the steps of the courthouse and Cincinnati would be burnin' (again).

Toy_Cop:

Yeah. I'll get right on that. Retard.

Anyway, it was a tense situation and the guy must have done something seriously wrong for the squad to be called in to take him out of his cell. Everything looked okay by my prison standards.

2007-12-18 02:45:50 PM
Shooting him while he was sitting down was completely wrong. I have to say, though, if someone pissed me off and I had power, I might just abuse it like these guys did. Emotion overrides logic.

2007-12-18 02:47:40 PM
Toy_Cop, Congrats, you'll have the rest of this 'computer' thing figured out in no time.

My favorite part is "Five, four, three, blam!!!" Two and one are for suckers I suppose.

2007-12-18 02:49:51 PM
IXI Jim IXI: Yep. "Five, four, three BLAM"

That struck me, too... but prison is a really tough place full of hard, crazy fools. They told him a bunch of times clearly what they wanted and the consequences for not following through. If he was being cute by waiting for "One... and a half," then he got his due. How did he not see this coming, as they slowly escalated force? Once you're penned in by the riot team in prison, you're caught! Just lie down like they said and go limp.

Of course, this character didn't get there by thinking clearly and making right-headed decisions.

2007-12-18 02:50:01 PM
My favorite part:

"Five!..Four!..Three!.." *fires*

Just like pulling a band-aid off
