Does Gary Coleman come with it? I'd really like to store him in a jar with holes punched in the top and a stick/branch.

Are those Utah plates on his car?

Gee, how the mighty have fallen. To be forced to live in Ooo-tah.

Yes he does. He sits on a little swing that hangs from the rearview mirror.

If I had the money, I'd hire him to hang around with me whenever I go out. We'd set up a special system for when I make some outrageous claim, he'd ask "Whatchootalkinbout, Mega Steve?"

That would be sweet.

I'd give him a little lantern and a jockey outfit and make him stand on my front lawn.

So, he's just selling his car? That's sad?

I read that headline 3 times and the only reason I clicked it was because all three times I read it, I read "Gary Oldman."

It wasn't until I scrolled down and saw the picture that I realized that I have a learning disability.

I think that George Washington made owning them illegal in his "I have a dream speech" back in 1697.

If I had taken a loan for $10,000 only to payback $59,000 I'd be selling my car too. Cashcall must have finally come looking for their money.

I was talking about midgets, and it was a specific ban on using them for decoration or in art pieces.

What DID happen to all his money? Did his parents spend it? Did he spend it all? It's amazing how bad people are with money in general, but celebrities in particular. If you ever have more than a million dollars cash on hand, just invest it in low-risk, low-yield stocks, or an MMA. Just live off that if you're so sloppy with your money.

His parents basically stole it all, he sued and only got around 100 grand back.

Whenever I think of Gary Coleman & his actions now, I always remember his appearance on Star Dates. It was a short lived reality show where average people got dates with burnt out celebrities like Coleman, Dustin Diamond, & that guy who played Eddie Munster. When the girls found out that they were going to date Coleman both girls just burst out laughing. Supposedly he kept trying to call one of the girls & she ended up having to change her number because of it, if the rumor mills are to be believed.

BTW... didn't he have a job once as a security guard?

So, who bought Gary's Gamecube on eBay? He needed the money for Lotion.

2007-12-12 02:22:16 AM
I feel bad for the guy. His parents dicked him out of money, he's poor as hell, he's a joke who only gets attention now because of nostalgia value which is rapidly failing, and now he's getting hell because he's selling his car on Ebay among other things to make ends meet. He's not selling his teeth like other '80s icons, but still...this is sad.

He should just declare bankruptcy and find another line of work. Or just go into hiding in a monastery or make a living off of real cameos. Or leave the country.

When I think of Gary Coleman, I'm in the shower....:)

In all seriousness, when I think of him, I always remember his role in Buck Rogers in the 25th Century. He played another pre-WW3 Earth survivor. Pretty retarded, lol.

Wikipedia says he got 1.2 million, but filed for bankruptcy six years later.

Yep, he lives in Utah. Just a few miles away from where I live as a matter of fact. I've seen him and his wife around town a few times.

Goddamn that's a nice looking car. Say what you like about American cars, but they look good.

Well, except for the big honkin' ugly pseudotrucks.

Except that the Saturn Sky is based on the Opel Speedster. So yes, it is very nice looking for a European inspired American car.
