I for one wouldn't poke around at a backpack found by the side of a road in Egypt.

So, once again, there are pictures but we don't get to see them. Sigh. I hate when news sites do this!!!

It was probably stolen by this Musketeer. He was a thief, you know. Let all of the water out of the roller, too.

Hm. There could be a buried airplane nearby and a hidden cave with the bones of an injured woman inside it.

My head is about to explode with the awesomeness of this post. It's one of those things I'll be thinking about for days. Could it be any more romantic? I'm callin' "The English Patient" romantic...without the tragic ending/shriveled Kristen Scott Thomas mummy.

I came for the 'sharp knees' equivalent comments on a bad movie, I was not disapointed.

Thank you fark.

And in other related news, hundreds of Farkers have to search IMDB to figure out the movie reference.

/I won't say McConaughey's movies aren't all huge hits, but only because my Captain Obvious uniform is still at the dry cleaners.

I had free movie passes when I went to go see that movie. Well worth what I paid.

Actually, I enjoyed the movie as one of those mindless action movies with gaping holes in logic (the helicopter that didn't move out of the way from a cannonball, a civil war era ironclad with gold coins making it all the way to Africa, and no one found it and pillaged it).

Not to mention the chica in that movie...

I lost my dad's Vietnam Zippo lighter at Nantasket beach doing Bong hits. 5 years later some Metal detector geek found it and returned it to my dad and mentioned he found a Bong next to it. My dad gave me a beating for lying I took his lighter.....

note to lost and found hero's.....do not return.

It's not like finding a Hardee's bag out in the parking lot containing a Post It note telling my skank next door neighbor how his girlfriend's gonna ride it cowgirl tonight. Give a True Romantic a break!

First, it might have been a bad movie, but it did star Penélope Cruz's ass.

Second, Hal Jalykakik's HitRoll has proven that despite all the bad things said about Nazis, they sure could boogie down at a consistent tempo.

agentanaranjado: best rickroll ever.

You know, I know what a rickroll is, but just for shiats and grins I went to see its definition in the Urban Dictionary. There are 16 definitions, but that's not important right now. What is important is that there was a reference in one of those definitions to a "duckroll," which is a term with which I wasn't familiar. So I checked it out, and in the second of the two duckroll definitions read this line:

Often used on Ebaumsworld, a place where hackers on steroids congregate. (bold emphasis mine)

Really?

Why "accidentally" dropped and not "Thrown away in terror whilst running from the Africa Korps." ?

I keed

( or do I ? )

I like how people will re-imagine an ending of a movie to force their wit, or lack there-of, on us.

Subby, you're doing it wrong.

I have a story like this!

One winter my hat blew off in a snowstorm when I was clearing off my car. Didn't bother looking for it. Forgot about it and in April when the snowbanks finished melting there it was, sitting in frozen gravel. Still intact, technically, but it needed a lot of washing.

So, yeah, it's kinda the same.

I wish all of Clive Cusslers books were movies. I know they're improbable but so are James Bond movies. When the movie came out a reviewer in my hometown called it a horrible movies with not reality in in. That is the point of the books just something to enjoy in between lifes moments.

/Clive has a new Dirk Pitt book out.
