I suppose a suck could be considered a blow job and the tractor did blow.

Tragic. My heart goes out to those who lost loved ones.

The Sunday blast, which hurled hot oil and shrapnel up to 100 yards away, came on the eve of the 156th Medina County Fair, an annual event which drew 120,000 people last year.

Now, that's a lot of people going to a fair...

What is it with farm equipment and dismemberment? We get arm dismemberments via farm equipment in Minnesota yearly.

Antique Steam Engine + Several Hundred Pounds of Steam Pressure + Metal Fatigue + Crowd of Gawkers = Tragedy.

That equation is true every time.

Last year, about 30 people who attended the fair or an attraction at the fairgrounds later in the year became ill with E. coli

Such excitement... what's in store for next year??

Too bad the two cops didn't die also.

I guess that crate of "Tractor Parts" they used wasn't really tractor parts.

And all we have to worry about in our N. California country fairs are hood rats smuggling in weapons and going berserk. Gee.

Ah, my own hometown, featured on FARK!

Don't suprise me, that thing was always a death trap. Too bad it took out some perfectly nice people rather then the damn hoodrats that infest the fair every year...

Buddy I'll be moving there in a matter of weeks..
Li'l ol' Medina, Ohio..who'da thunk? I actually got a kick out of looking at the old tractors.

I feel badly for all involved. Sad.

Wow! Surprised to see people from my neck of the woods on here. I went bungy jumping at the Medina County fair two years ago. Thankfully their string of bad luck waited until the year after to strike (The E Coli thing). I'm in Columbus now, but I used to live about a half hour from Medina, Wellington to be specific.

SLAYERSWINE, I am always amazed by the ignorance of some people, you in particular. I feel ashamed for you even if you aren't yet intelligent enough to be ashamed for yourself.

Your consistent jabbing at police officers does not make you sound tough or cool. It shows that you are an immature idiot. Police have a tough job. They risk themselves for your safety, even if you don't like to acknowledge it or prefer to focus on some cop who gave you a speeding ticket. When your life is in danger, they will come to your aid as best they can, regardless of what you said about them.

I hope you are some punk rebelious teenager right now still have time to grow out of it. If you are what passes for an adult... well, how sad.

Yowza, there sure are alot of Medina folks on here!

My Mom and Dad were there on Sunday and saw the thing go! My Dad is an old farm boy turned engineer and was actually going over to look at the old equipment when it blew up. He brought a piece home that landed like 5 feet from them, I tried to get him to give it to me but hes gonna put it in his collection of dangerous metals, weirdo.
One of the wounded is a lady my Mom works with too, I am so conected to this story I can smell it!
