I just want to say, that from a legal standpoint, I can see their point about the marraige. Not really sure how merely being gay implies breaking abstinence, though.

Not teaching kids about sexual health is what they do in the backwards 3rd world. This is America, you numbnuts. Why the hell is everyone afraid to admit that their kids might be curious about their bodies, have hormones, and bump uglies?

They're going to do it regardless of what they're taught in school, and abstinence-only education just makes them ignorant of the proper percautions they need to take to PROTECT THEMSELVES! (ie condoms, birth control, STD's, etc.)

I can see that being appropriate. I got kicked out of a flickr online GSA because I was questioning why a Gay-Straight ALLIANCE meant a gay support group in which straight people were allowed, rather than a gay-straight alliance.


While I am fully in support of full & equal rights for LGBT (however creepy I find transexuals...), I can understand the school's position, and don't think that the move is discriminatory toward gay folk, although it would be shocking if the motivation behind it weren't.
