Hmm. I don't think I used enough hyphens.

Is it ironic that they issued the citation for "wreckless" driving when he crashed his car?

2007-11-14 03:28:11 PM
Was it a hot and sexy citation?

Yeah, I'm trying to figure out if that was a retarded typo or a retarded joke.

I wish I could arrest a few cops for wreckless driving.
I live near a members only pool that serves my neighborhood. (yea, elitist, bla bla bla) All summer the kids from my neighborhood stream back and forth all day from the pool and their houses. Cops patrol my neighborhood regularly while only going into the lower income areas when a specific call draws them there. (no corruption in this town) When they do get a call they go blazing down my 25mph street at 40 to 60mph, while kids practically have to leap for their lives to avoid the stupid pigs.
Now honestly, what emergency is so important that its worth risking running over a kid to get there?
If I were having a heart attack and someone said, "Hey, the cop can get here quicker, but he has to kill a child to do it. You want him now or in three minutes?" I would volunteer to wait.
Most cop calls in this town involve "back-up" at the local speed trap.

Well, I, for one, would like to compliment subby on the multi-layered humour in that headline.

The obvious paranomasia in the use of wreckless.
The subtle reference to the possibility that, had the roles been reversed, the officer would have almost certainly issued a citation for reckless driving.

Unusually high standard for a Fark headline.

Bravo! [drums feet on floor]

Police suck.
In town here an officer was on hiw way to assist with a hot pursuit of a suspect on foot. He had his lights on but not his siren, and the lights are the interior kind, not on top of the car. He came to a red light and didn't even slow down and t-boned a car killing the driver.

Dammit, don't pull someone out of a wrecked car unless it IS on fire. Help them out, yes. Undo their seatbelt, yes. Pull them, NO.

So who taught these kids to play in traffic? Maybe their parents should be arrested for endangerment.

In their defense, that's usually when they're speeding through turns and stuff. It's their job. Not in their defense, I'm not sure I want anyone who can't handle their vehicle out there tearassing around on residential roads at taxpayer expense.

Half the fun of being a law enforcement officer is getting to go vvvrrooom in your powerful police cruiser. The other half is that big, shiny, hard gun.

So yeah, if you think it was totally AWESOME that they gave the officer a citation.... then dont read the article.
