Welcome to Farktography!

This Week's Theme: "It's About Time"

: Photograph timepieces large and small.

We ask that before submitting your photos you read and adhere to the following submission rules, including but not limited to the following:

- Submissions must be photographs; screen captures do not count as photographs.
- You must be the original photographer of your entry. Do not submit anyone else's photography as your own.
- You are only allowed to enter a photograph once. Do not submit the same photo to another contest later.
- You may enter 3 photos in each contest as long as each photo is of a different composition.
- Please post each photo separately so they can be voted for individually.

Ideally, your photograph should be presented as taken, with as little alteration as possible either digitally in-camera or in your image editor during post-processing. No selectively applied digital effects! No removal or addition of image elements, no spot treatments, and no HDR images, please.

With few exceptions (red-eye removal, sensor or scan dust removal), modifications to the original photograph must be made evenly across the image.
See the rules for more information on acceptable modifications, or check in at the Farktography Forums.

Legal: All photographers submitting photos to this contest are the legal copyright holders for the photos submitted and the photos are not to be considered free for any other use without written consent from the submitting photographers.

- Drop by the Farktography Forum (for chatting, critique, techtalk and so on)

- Image hosting sites can be found here.

- Stats can be found here.

So they finally removed the collar, and I could look around at something other than the ER ceiling. The first thing I saw was a supervisor, and he was wearing the same watch as me. I made a lame attempt at humor: "Nice watch."

"Oh!" he said. "It's yours. They gave it to me when they cut your uniform off."

Which leads me to wonder... why the hell was he in the room when they cut my uniform off?

I had a really nice watch but I traded it for a sculpture in a third-world country. It was only a Swatch, but damn if it wasn't the most interesting time piece I've ever seen which wasn't specially crafted by Swiss gnomes wearing gilded monocles and tripping their balls off of hallucinogenic mushrooms grown in Atlantean caves and costing the princely sum of 4 white arabian horses pulling a novelty copper gourd filled to the brim with robitussin and platinum ingots. That and the fact that despite assurances that the mass produced mechanics of it would cause it to lose about 15 seconds per day, it kept perfect time. It's been the only watch I've enjoyed wearing and I've given up on my quest to replace it. Oh, the fleeting follies of youth. Had I but one regret, it would be that I didn't show you the appreciation and love you deserved. But I digress. In it's place I present this:
