"The Pizza Hat, a Chicago-style pizza version of Green Bay's Cheese-heads."

Wonder if it comes with your choice of toppings?
2002-10-04 09:23:17 AM
God forbid there would be a picture. No that would have been too much to ask.
2002-10-04 09:41:10 AM
As a last ditch effort, Bishop says he plans to drive around the arena and hand out Pizza Hats to tailgaters.

"Honey, this guy just came up to me and wants me to wear some dumb pizza hat. I would look ridiculous! ..Now, where did you put the Black & Blue 'war paint'?"
2002-10-04 12:15:54 PM

"Hey deep dish head ! Sit your farkin' arse down so I can see the game or else I'll kick you in the pepperoni !"

Whatsa matter, they couldn't figger out how to make a hat showing Al Capone smacking someone upside the head with a Louisville Slugger ?

2002-10-04 12:16:37 PM
Da Bears!
2002-10-04 12:18:35 PM
Grammar police: The headline should have said "Packers' Cheese-Heads"
2002-10-04 12:20:04 PM
lame. anyone who shows their support for a football team by wearing food on their head is just lame.
2002-10-04 12:20:40 PM
Cmon, cough up a photo! I feel a photoshop contest coming on!
2002-10-04 12:21:12 PM
What would the Brown's hat look like? Could it be made to Steam? Could it be made from chese so it stunk?
2002-10-04 12:21:50 PM
Ok, lets set the record straight. I live in Green Bay and this whole cheedhead thing is from outside the area. Fans who live in Green Bay do not wear these things. Anytime you see someone wearing a cheesehead at the stadium, it is most likely either a Milwaukee game or a visitor.

Thank you for your time and understanding.

Go Packers, Da Bears still suck
2002-10-04 12:21:59 PM
Rams fans should wear ass-hats...or boob hats.
2002-10-04 12:23:23 PM
so we've been reduced to competing with people from wisconsin?

c'mon, chicago! take pride in the fact that we're not a bunch of dopes with huge farking blocks of farking cheese on our farking heads. dignity, man! dignity!

now let's go kick the crap out that smart-ass first base coach.

Why Pizza?

Is it because of the whole "chicago-style" pizza that people talk about? Why not something cool like a bear skin rug with the skull of the bear on top of your own skull. That would be alright.

Cheeseheads are lame, this is actually even lamer.
2002-10-04 12:29:06 PM
Is there a "stupid" tag?
2002-10-04 12:29:46 PM
that's the dumbest thing I've ever heard
2002-10-04 12:31:44 PM
In buffalo they started selling "chciken wing heads" Although they just look like those orange circus peanuts that no one eats
2002-10-04 12:32:15 PM
Helmet football. bleh. I'd rather watch grass grow.
2002-10-04 12:36:19 PM
Hey - the inventor of Lucky Charms ate those candy circus peanuts! He sprinkled them on Cheerios and got filthy stinkin' rich.
2002-10-04 12:38:25 PM
I'm designing some clothing for Rams fans but you won't be able to see it when they're sitting down.
2002-10-04 12:40:11 PM
why wouldn't bears fans wear decapitated bear heads?
2002-10-04 12:41:37 PM
2002-10-04 12:43:01 PM

Are you really that pety and self involved that you feel the need to go into a thread about fans of a sport you don't like, just to say you don't like that sport?

It would be different if the article was about the world's most popular sports or something, but this is about making a hat for Bears fans.

If it's a troll attempt, fine, you got me. Happy now?
2002-10-04 12:55:06 PM
Oh great, now we can look just as retarded as the Packer fans.

The Bears have been useless since 1984 anyway; last year was just a fluke.
2002-10-04 12:56:01 PM
Bah, the bears still suck.
2002-10-04 12:59:07 PM
Chicago deep-dish pizza....mmmmmmm

God I miss that place. Between that famous pizza and getting those famous ribs at Twin Anchors, there's lots of good food in Chicago.
2002-10-04 01:01:36 PM
I am pretty sure I seen pizza heads at the games a few years ago already.... I am not sure what good they will do as the Packers will most likely kill the Bears regardless of Cheese and Pizza... and in defense of the Cheese Heads.... Isn't Cheese the main ingredient in Pizza? Seems to me that we have a double standard going on here.
2002-10-04 01:03:45 PM
Yeah, in this shiatty economy this is the enterprise you'd want to throw a big gob of money into.

Let's least a dozen sold to relatives that *have to* support yer lame ass. Since the Bears are playing downstate this season and the IQ drops serverly as you head down I57, mebbe pick up 2-3 hundy in your shanty outside the stadium. Nobody else wants to out do the Packer Backer's in idiocy. Farking pizza heads...doh.

2002-10-04 01:09:09 PM
As an avid Packer fan, I feel the need to say this.

Brett, I'm frightened for you this week. Your O line sucks monkey balls and Urlacher's drooling to hit you. He's a scary guy to start with... remove any talent from the O line (which seems to be the case this year) and there's trouble.

That being said, Pack by a TD.
2002-10-04 01:09:25 PM

Cheeseheads - we are what others pretend to be.

Now, I wouldn't be caught dead in one myself (and I'm a huge Packer fan), but to try and copy us?

Everyone wants to be like Packer fans......
2002-10-04 01:10:14 PM
Anyone ever been to Pizzanos "not sure if that is spelled correct" in Chicago?.... Best Deep Dish Pizza I've ever had. Also enjoyed the fact that the place is in Downtown Chicago the walls are splattered with The Bulls the Sox and the Black Hawks.. For football fans there is nothing but pictures of the Green Bay Packers on the wall. I guess the owner does not like the Bears. Understandable to say the least...
2002-10-04 01:16:46 PM
lol at the Frightened for Brett remark.... Favre has had guys just as big and bad as Urlicker chase him out of the pocket.. I doubt Brett is affraid as a matter of fact. Favre is one of the few if not only QB's in the league that will stand up to Urlicker and take no shiat. did you see him last week gettin in the face of line backers twice his size.. No Fear.... thats why he will win his 4th MVP this year or at the least share it with McNabb.... GO PACK!!!!!
2002-10-04 01:47:24 PM
As a Packer fan, I have to say "thank god". Get some of the heat off of us.

*points finger at pizza head* - "Look over there!"
2002-10-04 02:04:48 PM
But can the pizza-head be used as a beverage/chip bowl holder like the Cheesehead? Me thinks not.

Go Pack Go
2002-10-04 02:20:05 PM
Someone needs to invent a Smog Head for Bears Fans to wear.
2002-10-04 02:33:55 PM
Rocko: Actually smog is not that bad in Chicago... cough cough
2002-10-04 02:42:02 PM
They need a smog hat for Houston. Or a lung cancer hat. I havent decided yet...

2002-10-04 02:58:15 PM
Smog here in Chicago? hmmmm.

maybe if the Bears had moved to Gary, Ind. that would be cool. For a gameday hat, Bears fans should be wearing the head of a packers fan.
2002-10-04 03:09:15 PM
san fransisco did something like that with sourdough bread, it was really lame. now everyone has foam hats, like the wisconsin badgers, i see a few of those in the stands from the field every game
2002-10-04 03:29:22 PM
what are the bears trying to top the packers in stupid/humiliating fanwear?
2002-10-04 03:33:49 PM
so the new pizza hut deep dish will be just like a chicago deep dish right?

whew, now I have no reason to go there.
2002-10-04 03:36:35 PM
Raiders fans wear butt helmets.
2002-10-04 03:47:26 PM
Pizza Hut is coming out with a Chicago deep dish? I bet it can't compare with the real thing, but it looks like I may actually go to Pizza Hut for the first time in years just to give it a try.

Ah, how I miss the unique food from my original homeland up there.

It's next to impossible to find an Italian Beef sandwich here in Florida.

Go Bears!!

>It's next to impossible to find an Italian Beef sandwich >here in Florida.

In Orlando, there's BT Grinders just off Lake Underhill and the hot dog place in the Waterford Lakes mall.

>For a gameday hat, Bears fans should be wearing the head of a packers fan.

2002-10-04 06:45:51 PM
My boss at my part-time bar job has had one of these hats for over a year.

And it's still lame.
2002-10-04 07:03:52 PM
All I have to say is

GreenBay Packers are going to eat the Bears crap this Monday night !!!

Fugg you Packer fans !!!
Fugg you Packer fans !!!
Fugg you Packer fans !!!

[image from too old to be available]
2002-10-04 08:28:03 PM

I can completely relate! I lived in Orlando for 2 years after growing up in Chicago, and I never found a pizza place I liked, or Italian beef....And somehow they managed to screw-up "Chicago-Style" hot dogs "Ketchup?! What the hell for?!"
A coworker and I once tried asking the "locals" where they go for pizza...9 out of 10 suggested "Pizza Hut"! ugh...That's like suggesting McDonald's when I want a good burger place.... No, wait. It's worse.....
