Osaka pref. police has been known for all sorts of corruption.. the title 'state sponsored yakuza' is often thrown at them.

Pornsaur I'm not sure, but I think donuts are very very expensive there... I don't think many people there eat them for breakfast.

I rememeber doing a quick look up on the yen to dollar exchange rate, and it said about 150 yen to 1 US dollar. I can't see it having changed as much to make it $4000, as Cow Song states, but I could be wrong or my initial numbers could have been wrong. So about $3300.

In case you're interested, I wanted to know the conversion because I was watching Cool Devices and wanted to know how much they sold that pop singer chick for in USD.
