Maybe I'm just a twisted fark, but that picture made me think the words spoken right before the shutter snapped were: "Okay, honey, now take it out and give me a hummer."

The future trend:
One-way flights for kids.

And this is the same airline that won't let me jump out of the friggin plane...sheesh. I could save on my taxi fares that way, ya know.
2001-07-26 01:49:52 AM
What do you think those inflight meals are made of...

"And your choices for today are long pork tender loin or breaded veal parmisan."
2001-07-26 02:14:03 AM
That's Parmesean, not parmisan.

When i was about 12 and I used to fly, my parents taught me how to read the moniors that say where to go. This never happened to me because if something happened i just called my parents instead of being at the wrath of some know it all 22 year old.
2001-07-26 05:57:59 AM
You can fly whilst being 10 and 11 years old, but not drink untill you're 21... Mmm, it's a strange country, it is.

Stupid, if i'd wanna lose my kid, i'd prolly would tie him down and tie him to a tree. Much easier and cheaper.
2001-07-26 06:24:32 AM
Lechas: sure, but you couldn't go and sue the airline for negligence...

I just don't understand that the airline didn't learn from the first time it happened. And twice in one week, I am wondering how often this happens without it making the news. Glad I don't have children. Also glad I fly other airlines.
2001-07-26 07:49:02 AM
That photo IS disturbing. I am not as twisted as Jenius53, but that man has got a strange look in his eye.
2001-07-26 08:17:52 AM
I wonder if that woman could make her hair any more yellow.
2001-07-26 08:29:49 AM
I submitted the first one last week, and it never got posted. Me sad.
2001-07-26 08:38:52 AM
This is another reason why we who travel a lot call America West...
America's Worst.
2001-07-26 09:08:52 AM
Errrrrrr....the right plane was cancelled. They should beat the grandparents for not calling.

Have you ever tried Such A Bloody Experience Never Again?

. "We'll fly again. That's not a problem. I'm just glad to know where he is."

Not only does he have a strange look in his eye, there seems to be some problem with his brain functionality as well.

hmmmm maybe this is why mommy wont let me fly to florida alone....
but i could find my own damn way without the airlines help.

did anyone else catch how god damn articulate that kid was? he was all like "A reasonable explanantion for this." how old was he again?

i might have imagined it, but diddnt the kid sorrrrta look like elian? (i see things sometimes though, so dont get on my case if hes a toe head with glasses and a big nose)

2001-07-26 09:31:24 AM
does the kid know how to use a phone?
2001-07-26 10:27:15 AM
The father should have known... I mean, he was picking him up at Lindbergh Field.
2001-07-26 10:40:09 AM
The father shouldn't have let hgis son fly alone in the first place.

Surprising no one....
2001-07-26 11:53:13 AM
That's "parmeggiano reggiano".

Mangiacake imbecile.
2001-07-26 12:20:16 PM
I'm gonna start shipping Little Johnny all over the place...I'm sure I'll hit paydirt sooner or later! As a matter of fact, I'll train him to get lost on purpose. Yeah, that's the ticket.
2001-07-26 12:35:23 PM
Madcow: I don't care if it's surprising nobody. You just got me in trouble at work. I saw that pic and couldn't help but laugh out loud. heh

"You really would think they have the technology to track down my kid,"

Flight attendant, hold the boy still while insert this tracking device into his hippocampus.
2001-07-26 12:41:54 PM
Schmee is right. The grandparents are as much as fault for not letting the father know the flight was cancelled and his little hellspawn was put on another plane. Message to parents: take some responsibility for yourself and stop trying to project the entire blame on someone else when things go wrong. Sometimes it doesn't have to be anyone's fault, sometimes shiat just happens.

Then again, who cares? This doesn't affect my life in the slightest. Why did I even read this story?

I think I'll go lie down now.

2001-07-26 12:42:48 PM
Hey Drew, nice filter!

2001-07-26 01:12:15 PM
But what about all the kids they *didn't* lose this week?

It's called *acceptable losses*, people!
2001-07-26 01:13:14 PM
BTW, AntiNorm: they do let you take your rig as carry on, right?
2001-07-26 01:29:06 PM
"Sherill says he can't believe the airline allowed this to happened again."

nice grammar... -1 for the writer

Hey Senator! If you want to pass a law that will REALLY matter, howabout banning children under the age of 5 from ALL air travel. Screaming spawn from hell. Feh!

Spacegoat: Is it an acceptable loss to lose your kid?

According to Babelfish, Leopold Porkstacker said:

Pour the good messages are out that it did not cope above in the German scatpornfilmen.

Frankly, I found the German easier to understand...
