These shiatbags and the powerwolves they represent have zero integrity.

Mettalica = Sell Out Corporate Whores

Lars: "Oh hey how hard do you want me to suck your dick today Mr. Record Company Exec."

fark you, Lars Ulrich!!! You're a monkey-farking turdburglar son-of-a-biatch asswhore coont!!!

Lars and James can kiss my white ass. They have already proven that they don't give a shiat* about their fans, caring about profit instead.

* What is the point of having a cuss filter on Fark? I know that Fark has problems picking up advertisers as is, but I've been told by a certain Fark Admin who shall remain nameless *ahem*bit0mike*ahem* that the filter is really only there to be silly, and that the admins really don't care about the cussing. Why keep it then?

2001-07-26 01:44:12 AM
Because it's damn funny, that's why, AntiNorm. Take ol Pork up there. That would be downright harsh, but throw in a few farks & coonts and a splash of biatch, and it's hilarious.

I don't mind it at all

BTW: fark you, Metallica. Stick a fork in em, they're done

god, I'm sooooo tired of bashing metallica, why can't they just go away... and rehab is certainly not the answer, rock starts should be denied sobriety at all costs. will somebody please shoot the red hot chili peppers full of drugs again? aerosmith is another example of a band that started with "promise" (I still think they suck, but they're just an example) but then sobered up and now spew market-rock with no end in sight. john bonham? jimi hendrix? jim morrison? did they go to rehab? hell, no. and who do we respect more today? damn straight. you wanna be a rock star? you should be ready to take it all the way. or at least quit making records when you can't take it anymore. sheeeat, I gotta get role models somewhere, and they're taking all the drugs out of pro cycling.

Umm.. Do these guys still think they matter?
They committed suicide when they went after Napster.. Now all they have are their permafried stoner fans who don't even remember their birthdays. Keep 'em. And fark you, Lars. And fark you too, Hetfield. Hopefully the next time you drink you die of alcohol farking poisoning.

every last track of their new cd will be all over the internet 2 months before it ever comes out...and i'm sure of it.

2001-07-26 04:33:31 AM
Sgamer: Question is, considering that after the black album (IMHO it was the turning point, they became famous and the hard style truly died out) they have produced utter rubish, would you want those new songs anyway??

2001-07-26 05:52:16 AM
lol @ Dude.

Wesley was kind of prophetic in that lyric.

While Napster was going, I downloaded every metalica song, not to listen to, just to make available for uploading.

2001-07-26 07:47:59 AM
Metallica is bunch of pussies. They can all join their retarded orchestra and play little girly songs about how their a bunch of rich farks that only care about getting paid. If I had $220 million I don't think I would care if people downloaded my music for free. I'd just be glad people still listen to my retarded ass music.

2001-07-26 08:39:09 AM
I think I would love to see the old, NON sober Motley Crue just kick shiat out of those rednecks ......

You know, the good old days. When Nikki Sixx didn't give a fark who knew they were getting WASTED!.
When Metallica said .....
Assholes, every one of them. EXCEPT Jason. He knew it was time to leave the sinking ship. He was the cooliest one anyhow.

This is the ONE time that the ironic tag would have been useful.

2001-07-26 08:55:17 AM
Dude: That's one Wesley Willis song that should be immortalized forever.

Let's hope that Metallifark goes the way of Guns n Roses.
Axl Rose is a pansy little whiney grab-arse who cried and biatched when his little supermodel girlfriend Stephanie Seymore kicked him in the nads. He actually tried to press charges.
What a panty-waste.

Metallica rules.

2001-07-26 09:20:40 AM
i remember when VCRs came out and the movie industry fliped a lid saying that VCRs will kill their income . This is just history repeating itself . Actually record sales were up for a while , then Craptellica started all the fuss . Thus we have a 20% drop in record sales . What a bunch of wanna -bees , Metaalica sucked all the way back when , when they made in justice for all . I listened to it for 3 songs and literally threw it out the Farking window .

Where the f is my thribble .......

So Deceiving
Through Your Eyes Their Light Burns
Hoping to Find

It's funny how the lyrics to that song paint a pretty good picture of exactly what Metallica did with the US Justice system only 8 or 9 years after that song was written...

they should hook a video game to Lar's ballsack..and ride the lightning....fark dem..

Jason Newsted is still all right in my book though. He did awesome work on Flotsam and Jetsam's first album, and he was working on their second when he was asked to join Metallica.

He didn't talk much about his real reasons for leaving Metallica were, but I would suspect that it had something to do with James and Lars being ASSHOLES, and something to do with INTEGRITY.

2001-07-26 10:23:11 AM
Yawgmoth: Exactly. This is why Metallica must do the only honorable thing.

Light themselves on fire.

2001-07-26 10:24:48 AM
The Honorable Thing: SEPUKU

They could stand to learn a few things from the cover of Flotsam & Jetsam's "No Place For Disgrace" album, speaking of F&J.

I never really liked Metallica's music...but, I would actually like to thank Metallica! Yes, it's true! If it weren't for them, I would have never found out about Napster and other file sharing programs! These days, whenever I think of a song I like to hear, I download it! Kinda ironic if you think about it.

Oh, and just for kicks: Metallica is farking biatch shiat ass coonts...boobies!

Demosthenes,

Absolutely! "Doomsday..." is a kick-ass album.

Jason was definately the nicest guy in Metallica. I hung out with them many times - we have mutual friends - and everyone made fun of Ulrich. Even the crew. The other guys were cool, too, but I guess success changes people.

I stopped listening back in the "Black album" days.

By the way, that press release was full of shiat. Jason left because James and Lars wouldn't let him release a solo album. They said it was "too alternative" and didn't want it to be associated with Metallica (as if it could hurt their reputation).

2001-07-26 11:14:16 AM
Will someone please bury the corpse that is Metallica...its really starting to stink.

2001-07-26 11:15:46 AM
uhhh... I really don't think they mean 'share' as in file sharing over the internet...

ummm... nevermind, I'd probably hate metallica too if I didn't like them so much...

Slashdot had an interview with Lars a while back. They started questioning him about how much he even knew what he was suing. The only time he had ever used the internet was when someone showed him some sports team's scores on AOL. ;)

I stopped listening back in the "Black album" days.

Man, you and so many others, Frank.

I liked perhaps 50% of the songs on the "Black Album", but lost interest in it only a few months after buying it... whereas, I continued to listen to "Lightning" and "Puppets" for years... heck, I STILL listen to "Justice". That was one sweet album!

When "Load" came out, I was interested... I mean, they hadn't had an album come out in like four years, and I really wanted to hear some new material from them, since I never really was too enthused about their self-titled release.

"Load" was a real downer. I ended up liking a few tracks, "Until it sleeps", "Bleeding Me", and a couple others... but the other 12 tracks on that CD were blahhhhhhhhhhhhhh..... I could never listen to the whole CD in one sitting, because I always got bored with it before it was ever more than halfway through.

I even skipped around on it, trying to give other tracks a fair shake, trying to give Metallica the benefit of the doubt, but there just wasn't anything in those songs that spoke to me like their older material.

"Re-Load" came out, and there was only one track I liked on it.... the rest were as dull as most of the tracks on the previous album were. Blah!

"Garage, Inc." I thought was a cool idea, but I already had most of the songs on it that I liked, on other CD's... and the other tracks they put on it I wasn't interested in.

"Load" has been sitting in my CD tower at home, in its jewel case, undisturbed for at least three or four years. I think the next time I go to the local used music shop, I'm going to see if I can get any money for it.

In short, their last GOOD album was "Justice". I suspect that because of the work that Cliff did on some of those songs before he died had something to do with that.

The band certainly lost its direction after Cliff died. Jason, unfortunately has had to fill Cliff's shoes, after the rest of the band became callous shadows of themselves, so easily identifiable in the change in their music after Cliff passed away. It's sad that they have come to this point, so far away from where they started out, and are still going through the motions, as if they actually had anything left to say with any of their songs. None of them have any soul left.

The reason I rant on this as I have is because for years, Metallica was my favorite band... they were consistently raw, fast, creative metal that had an edge that still no other band has ever had. They didn't care about being stylish (Cliff Burton wore bellbottoms on stage until the day he died... and in the 80's, bellbottoms were so far from "style" it was not even funny), they didn't care about being popular, they didn't care about record labels or album sales... they cared about making music for fans that enjoyed it, and they cared about having a good time doing it.

Talk about a 180.

2001-07-26 11:40:30 AM
Metallica should not have continued. They should have finished "Justice", since most of the songs on it were already written before Cliff died, and gone their separate ways. Instead, they've just gotten hooked up to a life support machine, and that machine has kept their heart beating long after the patient has passed on.

2001-07-26 11:47:02 AM
Metallica's new stance on themselves.. "Well..we really can't comment on the whole "rehab" thing, but um.. yea, Napster sucks!"
- sniffle sniffle.. napster...now turning into a pay-share site..long live the days of worthless downloads and bandwith clogging..

"Rock over London. Rock on Chicago. Wheaties is the breakfast of champions."

Wesley Willis has always rocked harder than Metallica.

Since I listen to punk music, I can deal with singers that have shiatty voices. But listening to that ass clown Hetfield's voice just makes me want to kill myself.

2001-07-26 12:01:05 PM
Yeah, Metallica has always sounded exactly the same to me on every single song. One guy sounds evil and sings. One guy hammers the guitar with his pulsating member, and the drummer does his best to look like he is having a seizure while sneezing.

I dunno...i can do without it.

2001-07-26 12:05:12 PM
Leopold.... Why hold back? Tell us how you really feel!

2001-07-26 12:10:26 PM
Metallica played at some awards show, and I found something deeply disturbing. Lars Ulrich has farking nipple rings.

2001-07-26 12:16:09 PM
Demosthenes, those are exactly my sentimonies.

2001-07-26 12:25:16 PM
A few things led to the demise of Metallica in my opinion.

1) And any long time fan will agree. The death of Cliff Burton changed the band forever. They stopped making quality albums after this. The dominant presence of Cliff also died, and gave way to Lars, who is hoplessly a loser.

2) Working with producer Bob Rock. I mean come on, look at all the wonderful 80's bands that he produced. He changed the sound away from the hard charging Metallica of old.

3) Getting burned out from constant touring in support of the Black album. It drained them of all creative ability for the rest of their lives, probably.

Also, you want a comparison of the fan excitment level at a Metallica show?? If you can get ahold of a Live Shiat tape, watch the one from Seattle, where they cut to the crowd during "For Whom The Bell Tolls" and they are going NUTS. Look at Cunning Stunts, during the same song, people are farking sitting down, napping almost!!

Metallica is dead, bury them please.

2001-07-26 12:53:57 PM
i saw them at woodstock 94 , they had all these fire works and big ass explosions and all , but man they sounded like shiznit . i was tripping too wich wasn't a good thing .

2001-07-26 01:17:55 PM
I remember them at Woodstock in 94, after Nine Inch Nails they looked like a bunch of pretty clean limp dicks. NIN had been rolling around in the mud all day, and just exploded...Metallica came out an pulled their same tired shiat.
