I kind of liked Jericho, and the hot slutty bartender chick ruled.

Jericho sucked. Everybody loves Raymond was better.

Valdes: Jericho sucked. Everybody loves Raymond was better.

If by "better", you mean "an unfunny piece of sloth dung that no human being should ever have been forced to watch", I agree on the second point.

Jericho, however, was full of win.

Note...it probably doesn't matter how many watch it. I think the seven episodes they filmed are going to conclude the series...

Though, I'm sure if the ratings were huge, which would make very little sense unless a bunch of people picked it up on DVD, they would bring it back.

Jericho is alright. It just had those akward moments you had to fast forward whenever the sappy theme music comes on and the show becomes 7th heaven with nuclear terrorism.

Boritom: Now, let's get folks to freakin' WATCH the thing!

Tell CBS to stop putting the show on hiatus in the middle of the season and then not effectively advertising its return date.

beoswulf: Jericho is alright. It just had those akward moments you had to fast forward whenever the sappy theme music comes on and the show becomes 7th heaven with nuclear terrorism.

Nuclear terrorism would have at least made 7th Heaven watchable. I only watched the first two episodes because both of the leads were in Star Trek movies.

I was very disappointed to find they are worse actors now than they were in those movies.

2007-10-03 10:07:46 PM
Meh. Worst acting ever.

2007-10-03 11:11:02 PM
Didn't waste my time watching that drivel the first time around.

2007-10-03 11:11:36 PM
Ahh yes, the cheesy 24. Bad acting, horrid dialogue, I still like it.

2007-10-03 11:19:19 PM
I dl'ed and watched it all. Not bad, but not great. To me it seemed the show "tried" to be great, or even a "classic". Just so much in it that really got my goat.

The last couple episodes were actually pretty good and I will watch the last 7.

At least it's better than Bionic Woman.

Only if it meant that series was never aired. Damn Camdens and their eavesdropping and rude phone behavior...

Krom: Is The Unit still one? That show had so much potential...

The Unit started back up and is 2 episodes into the season. Really good start to what should be another good year.

2007-10-04 12:44:59 AM
Yeah, The Unit is awesome... I especially like it when any-given-episode is focused away from the wives (like they've been doing so far this season). Don't get me wrong, they add a lot to the show, but when it's +50% it ruins it for me.

2007-10-04 01:20:44 AM
All you people dissing 7th Heaven are forgeting that the great Jessica Biel came from there.

Let's just nuke them again.

2007-10-04 02:13:44 AM
Oh, and the thing that pisses me off about the show...

I drove through 250 miles of Western Kansas bullshiat twice last week, and I can tell you without a shadow of a doubt that you can't see any farking mountains from that state! Hell, you have to get to Limon, 100 mi. within the state of Colorado to even see a peak!

/end rant

2007-10-04 02:26:35 AM
I'm not sure if I'll bother - the networks haven't commented on whether the "hiatus" is going to reoccur this year.

/if yes, I'm not interested.
//in Jericho, The Unit or anything else on network television.

2007-10-04 02:47:53 AM
Even if the show is discontinued, as the article mentioned, it could still be picked up by a cable network. It never looked like the show required a huge budget with the C level cast and the hardly ever changing locations

2007-10-04 03:40:36 AM
Jericho => deleted from my tivo, I made it about 30 minutes into the first episode

I also recently gave up on damages.

I have too many shows to watch, netflix DVDs to watcn, and halo to play. Subpar shows just won't get any attention from me anymore.

2007-10-04 07:56:23 AM
I enjoyed Jericho but the hiatus annoyed me (stupid Lost) and the fact it seemed a bit rushed and none of the story lines really got to play out.

They were the last city left for what....4-5 episodes? They had to survive a winter in 3. And how could they kill off Heather and in such a crappy way. "Oh by the way Jake she got killed...sorry...now continue on."

2007-10-04 08:56:24 AM
Jericho got better by leaps and bounds after the first few episodes, and more so after the "hiatus". I watched it from episode 1 because I love post-apocalyptic storylines. I agree it had some cheesy lines and wooden acting throughout, but it got much better towards the end of the season. The last 4 or 5 episodes were terrific.

Frow: ...And how could they kill off Heather and in such a crappy way. "Oh by the way Jake she got killed...sorry...now continue on."

***SPOILER***

Had you continued watching Jericho you would've found out that Heather's alive and well and hawt as ever and on her way back to Jericho with a bunch of military people who are loyal one of the seven or so factions calling themselves the legitimate U.S. Government.

MMMMM... Heather...

You've obviously not watched the last eps of the season and fell for one of the biggest WTF?! the show had to offer... I actually liked the off-screen "death", seemed gutsy... but I like what *actually* happened as well... go ahead and take a look!

Yay!

Really wish they would try something like marketing the show on the net. I knew I'd like Jericho when I heard about it since I'm a sucker for post-apocalyptic survival stories, waited until the season was over and watched it all, was not disappointed. But it pisses me off that CBS grudgingly continued the show, and is now just sitting on it and waiting for a convenient time to toss it on the air.

Jericho is going to be a true story in the future. Thanks to Chertoff.
