I'm loving The Big Bang Theory.

I have little hope of it lasting, but its really funny.

2007-10-03 01:26:57 AM
Simpsons and Family Guy.

/no good sitcoms have came out since Seinfeld

2007-10-03 01:28:06 AM
I like Journeyman

2007-10-03 01:28:35 AM
House.

2007-10-03 01:28:57 AM
Reaper is doing not bad, so far.

2007-10-03 01:29:07 AM
Is there an HTML symbol for the null set?

2007-10-03 01:30:06 AM
The only new show I'm actively watching is Kitchen Nightmares. It's not nearly as good as the BBC version (obviously), but it's still a weekly dose of Gordon, and that's good enough for me.

My roommate was watching the premiere of Cane the other night, and I caught the last half or so. It looked pretty good, and I like Hector Elizondo and Nestor Carbonelle (sp?) enough to give it another shot.

OMG, Bionic Woman is so farking awesome! Stop by tonight for the thread filled with win.

Giuseppe: House.

Not new but seconded.

Kid motherfarkin Nation.

It's a tossup between Chuck and the Bionic Woman.

Also, I am happy as a clam about Heroes S2 and the new Doctor Who episodes.

You really liked it? I wasn't too crazy about it -- I thought they could've found a better actress to play Jamie.

I'm digging Journeyman.

2007-10-03 01:33:11 AM
Giuseppe: House.

House is still looking good, I was afraid they would fark it up. And it looks like Kal Penn (Kumar) might be joining the cast.

JB-NoHo: Reaper is doing not bad, so far.

I caught a few minutes of it and turned it, it looked really cheap and cheesy from the special effect I saw.

2007-10-03 01:33:36 AM
I need to see a few more episodes of shows. So far I'm enjoying Chuck and Reaper. I'm hoping Pushing Daisies will be good (and last awhile).

Life. It seems to be up it's own ass with the whole Zen thing, but I like the big mystery he's trying to solve thing.

Toshiro Mifune's Letter Opener: *waits patiently to see the vast volumes of people who will undoubtedly mention Cavemen*

Cavemen!

2007-10-03 01:35:32 AM
Chuck was good too.

I'm loving that the networks are getting smart and streaming the episodes so I can see them (legally)if I can't see them when they air. And the quality is really good.

2007-10-03 01:35:43 AM
And of course they had to put Chuck and Journeyman on Monday nights, when I'm not home.

Yeah, I don't TiVo. Not really worth it.

2007-10-03 01:36:33 AM
kimbirdy: You really liked it?

FARK NO!

But if there is a thread tonight it will be filled with win (mocking the hell out of it).

/Chuck is OK, Journeyman is good

TheNyquilKid: I caught a few minutes of it and turned it, it looked really cheap and cheesy from the special effect I saw.

Keep in mind that Kevin Smith, the guy who put a rubber poop monster in his modern-day Biblical epic, is one of the executive producers/creative consultants. I'm just loving the fact that they got Leland Palmer to play the devil.

GREENLIGHT!

Lord of Allusions: Life. It seems to be up it's own ass with the whole Zen thing, but I like the big mystery he's trying to solve thing.

The lead actor was really annoying to me, he almost comes off like rainman only not retarded, but just crazy.

2007-10-03 01:37:13 AM
The only entirely new show I'm watching so far is Journeyman.

Yeah, it's sort of Quantum Leap-ish, but different enough to be well worth watching.

2007-10-03 01:37:15 AM
Toshiro Mifune's Letter Opener: *waits patiently to see the vast volumes of people who will undoubtedly mention Cavemen*

It got a resounding "Meh" from me. That shtick is going to get really tiresome really quickly.

2007-10-03 01:37:16 AM
Still waiting to see one that I like.

/was sad when Flower died fighting that cobra, though.

2007-10-03 01:37:17 AM
The correct answer is none of the above.

You know the networks are getting desperate when a show premiered tonight based an advertising campaign.

I'll stick with my Sunday night Fox lineup (and Amazing Race when it returns).

/i was referring to "Cavemen" for the uninformed

2007-10-03 01:37:38 AM
None of them until Battlestar Galactica returns!

2007-10-03 01:37:59 AM
Was Cavemen on tonight? I want to Tivo it so next year when people ask 'hey wasn't there some show based on some stupid commercials?' I'll have proof of the one episode they aired before the network execs were fired for shooting heroin.

NBC has their shows online.

Hehe, cool. My sarcasm detector wasn't working, apparently...

I kinda like Chuck too, he's got that funny geeky thing going on.

2007-10-03 01:39:14 AM
Most of what I am watching are returning shows, but I did get to see The Big Bang Theory and I kind of liked it.

My favorite TV moment this fall happened on IASIPhiladephia, when they built the sweatshop in the basement and someone decided to play a recording of Hitler shouting over an orchestra, spiraling planes, and gunfire to motivate the workers. It was so unexpected and absurd I laughed for a full five minutes.

2007-10-03 01:39:31 AM
Mr. Fuzzypaws: NBC has their shows online.

Since I'm usually on the computer with the TV in the background, it would kind of defeat the purpose -- unless I turn the laptop into a streamin' TV. Hm...

2007-10-03 01:39:57 AM
Asperger Jones: p in mind that Kevin Smith, the guy who put a rubber poop monster in his modern-day Biblical epic, is one of the executive producers/creative consultants. I'm just loving the fact that they got Leland Palme

I forgot he was even involved, I will have to check it out now, not just while flipping through.

/Also, so weird I got a greenlight on something I never expected one on. It's like reaching in your pocket and finding $20.

2007-10-03 01:40:28 AM
man Vs wild.

He gets a pizza thats missing the sausage so he improvises and uses some bugs he found in the hotel dumpster

It was pretty cool

2007-10-03 01:40:46 AM
Reaper, hands down.

Chuck was a crappy rip-off of Burn Notice mixed with generic sit-com fodder.

2007-10-03 01:41:03 AM
Heamer: Cavemen!

You made me very proud, friend.

It's kind of like the end of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.

"So shines a bright deed in a weary world..."

kimbirdy: It got a resounding "Meh" from me. That shtick is going to get really tiresome really quickly.

I'm utterly astonished that it wasn't canceled mid-episode.

Roook: Was Cavemen on tonight? I want to Tivo it so next year when people ask 'hey wasn't there some show based on some stupid commercials?' I'll have proof of the one episode they aired before the network execs were fired for shooting heroin.

This night marked the beginnings of greatness, friend.

But don't worry. You'll have either one more episode or nine whole seasons of episodes to look forward to.

JB-NoHo: Since I'm usually on the computer with the TV in the background, it would kind of defeat the purpose

You can watch the episodes whenever you want.

New browser window + Desk Pins = Win

Toshiro Mifune's Letter Opener: I'm utterly astonished that it wasn't canceled mid-episode.

The ending was so anti-climactic that I thought they had cancelled it mid-episode. Really, that godawful Carpool was starting, and I thought -- wait. The other one wasn't over.

jiyuu_musouka: Reaper, hands down.

I can see that, but I watched an episode or two of Burn Notice and I thought it was just trying too hard.

/Wooo my knee injury is giving me a reason to sit around and watch tv.

2007-10-03 01:43:03 AM
TheNyquilKid: It's like reaching in your pocket and finding $20

Only you can't buy anything with it.

Toshiro Mifune's Letter Opener: But don't worry. You'll have either one more episode or nine whole seasons of episodes to look forward to.

I'd prefer a Geico gecko tv show. Or better yet an Erin Esurance one.

2007-10-03 01:43:24 AM
I liked Cavemen.

2007-10-03 01:43:24 AM
I know it got an early start, but does Psych count?

Arise Chicken: My favorite TV moment this fall happened on IASIPhiladephia

I still haven't caught that show even though everyone says to watch it.

Loved him in Rome, Journeyman, not so much.

But he and Anthony Michael Hall could have been separated at birth.

cycotica: I know it got an early start, but does Psych count?

No, it's on it's second season already. But good choice anyway.
