You ever been bit by a snake, submitter? It hurts. Enough to kill 6 people? I'm not sure. But at least 2 or 3.

"a reaction to the medication he was prescribed for the snake bite, along with alcohol, sparked some type of psychological condition that led to the killings."

Death penalty.

Fark him. He murdered a half doazen people over a period of time, in one case an old woman so he could take her car and continue on her trip. What a sick fark. This was not a hot-blooded crime of passion. That, at least, could be understood if not condoned. No - this was revenge of a much more brutal and cold blooded nature. Consider this. Four bullets per victim. Not six shots fired but eight. That means that he fired the gun empty and then stopped to reload so that he could shoot each of them again.

Good thing he'll be sent to Texas, too bad he can't be left alone in a room with the families of some victims for "quality time."

Well I live in Austin, I say snake or no snake you do not kill 6 people. you smack 'em around. Hit one or two with bats, but you do not kill them.
I think that they should hook a big car battery to his testicals and wait till he stops shaking, then they should change the battery.

A [atho;ogical killer surrounded by a family of pathological liars who just love him to death. Who woulda thunk it?

I am just thunderstruck.

Is it a wee bit sociopathic, or is it just grotesquely selfish for them to have the attitude of "Sorry 'bout your bad luck with Bubba savagely killin yer kin and all, but that's just how Bubba gets when Bubba is snake-bit.You'll get over it, but what 'bout poor of Bubba? Think of snake-bit Bubba for a minute why doncha"

Wait...you're telling me that this particular murderer deserves special treatment because he has psychological problems? How does that exactly separate him from any other murderer on death row? To kill someone in cold blood, by definition you pretty much have to have some sort of psychological issue.

Oh but wait! He was drunk and on medication at the time! Clearly some lenience is called for in light of that, right? Let's see:

-Please don't put my husband in jail, he was drunk and didn't realize it was a one way street.
-Please don't execute my son, he was on PCP and stabbed his wife because he thought she was a grizzly bear.
-Sorry officer, I was too high to remember that marijuana was illegal.

Nope. Doesn't work. Sorry.
