WOOFYSF, just think of the possibilities of talking your boss into giving you a raise.

Really popular at thanksgiving.

I watched a guy carve a statue of Paul Bear Bryant out of a log with a chainsaw one time. I gotta tell ya, it's cool to watch somebody do that. It really does take skill, and perhaps a six pack of beer.

if there's anything this country needs in these trying times...it's chainsaw carvers.

God bless Wisconsin.

Yay Wisconsin! First we're the big binge drinking state, now we're renowned for our chainsaw carving school!

Jagged3,

Hey wait a minute!!! I don't have veins that big sticking out of my log. Guess I should revisit that Sue lady link from a while back.

At least it's in Wisconsin. I'd hate to think how it would turn up if it were in Florida.

Finally, the problem of declining skills in our nations chainsaw murderers is being addressed!

I remember a guy who worked along Highway 101 around Leggett,Ca. that's where the Pacific Coast Hwy ends and
runs inland to hwy 101 because of the unstable geology of
the coast. anyway, there was a guy there who was always
carving something with his chainsaw. called it " carving for
christ". later graffiti added "Sawing for Satan".... actually he did a pretty good business from all the RV's going up'n'down the coast...

Given that I'm sitting in a classroom listening to some teacher drone on about using Excel (using Excel - I thought this was grad school, and we're learning Excel?)...

I'd much rather be wielding a chain-saw right now. Perhaps time to look into transfering...

They've got a course like that in Moil school. The biggest problem is catching the fainting mother when the Moil whips out the chain saw.

Leatherface gets an "A" just because.

Let me be the first Wisconsin resident to say

Why no WISCONSIN tag?

Why have as much stupid stuff as Florida. Maybe more.

If anyone's ever wondered why there's so much binge drinking in this state, chainsaw carving should probably explain it. Snowmobile jousting, on the other hand. Now there's an idea with some merit.

I feel a strange trend of kids missing fingers, hands and arms soon. Hopefully it does'nt catch on, I would wanna be stuck lookin like a dork with 10 fingers instead of 9 like the cool kids.
