While it's abundantly clear that marriage isn't necessary for a successful life, a happy marriage can make your life much more enjoyable. Who said that you should only do what is necessary for your survival?

While I am not married, my parents are, and they love one another dearly. A friend of mine was recently married, and he's happier than I have ever seen him before.

I agree 100% with what he wrote, and I have zero resentment. Never made that mistake. I also have a wonderful relationship with a beautiful girl who knows my feelings on this. We are both happy and fulfilled, with none of the bullshiat.
