Why do people always hand the camera to the guy with Parkinson's? That was unbearable.

that's how bears say "hello! i really like your SUV... what is this, leather? does it have a built-in compass and GPS?"

but all they can manage is "GGRrrrrRRRRrrr-shred-shred-shake-shake-GrrrRRRrr"

"Who is driving? Bear is driving? How can that be??!!"

I would post a pic of the cartoon bear from the Clerks series, but, mah interweb skillz are weak.

Looked like the bear was looking for frehch fries that had fallen between the seats. The bear does not appear to be "going nuts" as posted by the subby.

TRIPOD.

Learn it.
Live it.
Love it.

And STFU when you're filming. No one asked for your running commentary.

NukeTheGayWhales: Why do people always hand the camera to the guy with Parkinson's? That was unbearable.

It's really hard to hold a camera steady when it is zoomed in a lot. The smallest shakes get amplified into sea sickness for the viewer. If I saw a bear in my car, I would sprint to the camera and not waste time getting the tripod out.

I live in a wooded area that has never really seen a lot of bear traffic before. But earlier this year, I went out to the car to go to work and found bear tracks starting at the trunk of my car, continuing up onto the top of the car, then across the hood and off the front of the car. Naturally, all my trash had been knocked over and (stupid me) I had left my car window open and a bag of Doritos in the seat.
Yep, I saw bear tracks in the car too.

/wishes I could have seen it happen.
//probably would have shiat myself if I did see it.

I was watching the video, waiting for the bear to go nuts. When he said he was going to set off the alarm, I broke a smile... Then I waited and watched, hoping that perhaps the bear was going to come back to go nuts... Oh well. :(

/no nuts

A bear in his natural habitat... a Studebaker.

One cold morning I went out my station wagon and went to open the door to get in. I spotted a cat laying on the front seat. Once it spotted me it tried to take off. It ran full speed for the back and smashed head first into the back window at full speed. Seeing how that didn't work, it went full speed for another opening, but it was a window too. After smashing into windows 7 or 8 times, it finally found the open side vent window he crawled into.

Most of my windows now had a bloody nose print on them. I never laughed so damn hard that day...

If there were no bear lines, then they should have invested in some bear-proof containers. The goldfish they referred to should have been in one or the other. So should ANYTHING with a scent(toothpaste, deodorant, liquor etc.). Irresponsible folks like these are the reason bears become too comfortable around people and ultimately agressive. These 'friendly' bears who love people snacks are the bears who are most likely to eventually be destroyed to prevent attacks.
