Did you all suddenly discover the term "asshat" last week or something? Give it a rest already.

IckyMettle: It's not just Fark. The term 'asshat' seems to be gaining popularity everywhere. I see it on a lot of other forums and blogs constantly. Give it a couple of weeks and you'll be hearing it a dozen times a day in the real world too. I predict that it'll show up on the Drew Carey show within a year. I think it will be used by Mimi and directed at Lewis, but that's just a hunch...

Speaking of ASSHAT -- in TotalFark, they is (or was) a thread starting aobut finding a new cliche term...I suggest "Farktard".

Asshat is clearly a term whose usage has come to, er, term.
Rampant popular usage is certain.

I'm rather fond of the word "farktarget" myself, although it loses some zing going through the filter.
