You are such a partisan hack, submitter.

That is so freaking hot. I want your ass. Bend over.

When you read TFA it becomes more and more clear why republicans work so hard to make gayness illegal.

None of them are gay, but they just keep accidentaly having sex with men. Apparently a law is the only thing that will stop them.

It really seems even funnier when it's all collected on one page like that...

and a lot easier to send the link to repub family members...of course telling them it's a link to an online petition that has something or another to do with keeping the brown people down...

The Republicans know the dangers of the gay agenda. They can feel the strong impulse in their loins and know that only strong leadership and appropriate legislation can stop the final decline of Western Civilization.

Apparently the water supply at the last Republican national convention was contaminated with the gay.

I love the "American Dad" cartoon at the end of the article. I've never really watched it even though I like "The Family Guy." Maybe I'll give it a shot.

Ironically, if Republicans supported gay marriage, they might not be in this mess. If these guys were in committed (gay) relationships, they wouldn't have to cruise for boy tail on the down-low.

You know, most people get over that experimentation phase in summer camp, or college at the latest. Are these guys really slow or something?

Yesdog: Ironically, if Republicans supported gay marriage, they might not be in this mess.

Well, they wouldn't be getting raked over the coals for being hypocritical douchebags, that's for sure.

If these guys were in committed (gay) relationships, they wouldn't have to cruise for boy tail on the down-low.

And they would not have gotten elected, either.

When will Republicans learn that making it difficult to be homosexual in this country will make their adulterous homosexual liaisons harder to accomplish?

2007-08-31 05:38:40 AM
Q: So how many hetero republicans does it take to change a lightbulb?

A: I'd say the classic "both of them", but with the lights out they succumbed to passion.

Yesdog: Ironically, if Republicans supported gay marriage, they might not be in this mess.

You can be unsupportive of gay marriage without being anti-gay. I'm against government run marriage in toto. Does this make me a hater?

If the history of my own state legislature is any indication, there's got to be dozens of straight and gay members of Congress who are getting plenty of strange while posing with their wives and kids for the publicity photos.

What a shocker...the people who stomp their feet and scream about TEHGHAYS!!!! are really smoking pole in public restrooms. With all their Jebus connections, I am sure they can find a re-education camp or something.

my eyes just rolled right out of my head

The five biggest Republican gay sex scandals of the past twelve months

Fixed?

2007-08-31 06:42:48 AM
I for one can't understand why this is such a big deal and am sorry that it is making such big headlines. I know it is about being a hypocrite, but I guess since they are all the same and never do much of anything when it comes to worthwhile legislation it is all for the better.

The real victims here are the legitimately homophobic, genuinely heterosexual voters out there. What are they to do?

Why bathroom sex is hot (new window)

"When Idaho Sen. Larry Craig says, "I'm not gay," I believe him. But that doesn't mean he wasn't cruising for sex last June when he was arrested in a bathroom at the Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport on charges of disorderly conduct. Surely any homosexual worth his capri pants saw the loopholes in Craig's televised declaration of non-gayness, amplified by the presence of his wife. Even some straight folks, wised up after the scandals of Ted Haggard and Mark Foley, must have noted that Craig did not add a qualifying phrase like, "Nor am I bisexual," "I've never had sex with a man" or even one of those oldies but goodies like, "Doing what I did doesn't make you gay," "I was so drunk!" or "I'm only queer for some guys."

Offering an undercover cop $20 to allow Allen to blow him in a men's room in a public park. After being arrested, Allen tried to explain that he only offered to blow the cop because the cop was a "burly black man" and he "didn't want to become a statistic."

Words fail me.

The first 3 make the cut, but I don't think anyone cares about state legislators or college officials. Jeff Gannon was a private citizen, he never came out against gays or anything like that. You're allowed to be Republican and ghey. Also, Foley was a U.S. Rep. not a Senator.

swahnhennessy: Words fail me.

Not me.

The man dug himself so deep in a shiathole that the only worse thing he could have done was make it "better" by spouting something easily construed as being racist.

Oops.

All true about Jeff Gannon. It is legal to be Republican. It is legal to be gay. But it's not legal to be a gay Republican hooker. Further, when Gannon shot softball questions to the president during press conferences (invited there with no credentials other than his frequent slumber parties at the White House) it is definitely a scandal: a gay Republican sex scandal.

/And that's the rest of the story.

I Invented Crack:

I don't think the list was limited to just national level figures and was centered more on the hypocrisy and humor potential. I think if you really went looking you could find far more than five if you included the apparatchiks and state level politicians.

Bob Allen makes that list solely for the "burly black man" comment. That one almost made me do a spit take. I was only able to save my laptop from a coffee shower by clamping my jaw shut and sacrificing my sinuses.

Can't wait for a Democratic "citizen's group" to come out with a Republican Family Values ad during the '08 election cycle, featuring all these players.

I just assume anyone who claims to be a Republican is a closeted homosexual these days. I figure it's a safe assumption. Never seen a gayer bunch of people outside of Key West.

Remember kids, Republican = self-hating homosexual in almost every instance.

I thought is was OK if you are gay? When did it switch to being bad?

Tyee: I thought is was OK if you are gay? When did it switch to being bad?

It's ok to be gay. It's not ok to be a hypocrite, which is what these Republicans are.

It baffles me that Republican supporters are unable to figure out this distinction, again and again. I know they're mostly all self-hating homosexuals, but you'd think they could understand basic logic.

The fast the GOP can burn the better. We are going to have Democrat control for a generation at this rate.

These liars and swindlers in the GOP deserve to have their party end.

Tyee:

It's ok if you're gay. It's not ok if you're a hypocrite who works to deny citizens equal protection before the law. Does that clear things up a little?

Well, a lot of these are the same types of people that mention that if there were no anti-murder commandment, they'd be hacking and slashing everyone they don't like.

True. And if they didn't have Jesus, they'd see no reason not to lie, cheat, steal, and do anything they wanted.

That's a Republican for you! Worst people in the world.

2007-08-31 08:58:40 AM
My feeling is that if you are worried about catching the gay you already have a bit of it in you. I don't need a law to keep me from being attracted to men. Hell if a man hits on me I take it the same as if a woman I don't find attractive hits on me. Just say "sorry not really into you" and move on. Some of my best friends who were there for me in some tough times happened to be friends like that. The more vociferous you are on a subject like this the more obvious it is that it hits close to home. Now why two guys you don't know having consensual realtions bothers you on such a personal level if you have nothing to do with it should make you think. Seems to me like you are mad that the party is passing you by.

I'm going to print a "Gay Hunks of the GOP" calendar. I might donate the proceeds to charity, but I'm torn between a charity that distributes condoms to high school students, and one that provides shelter to wayward twinks.

So wait...you guys are confusing me....

So... Democrats supports gays, right? And you're say that all Republicans are self-hating gays, right? So does that Democrats support Republicans now? My brain asplodes.

Koggie: So... Democrats supports gays, right? And you're say that all Republicans are self-hating gays, right? So does that Democrats support Republicans now? My brain asplodes.

I think it's the denial self-hating part that Democrats can't support.

Its sad that people think that Republicans are all like this but its hard to argue when you see so many people in positions of power saying one thing and then going past the line of acceptable behavior for people of the group they are attacking (a very small percentage of gay men would see bathroom sex as acceptable).

I am a republican and I don't feel negatively towards homosexuals in any way. I know plenty others who feel the same way, it's actually the religious ones that are more into the homosexuality = bad ideology. BTW there are agnostic republicans. And I know a few democrats who are anti homosexual and they are also religious. I don't even blame them so much. I feel bad for people who have had it beat into their heads from their church and social circles that their sexual preference is so bad that they have to do things like this. Sad that the very thing promising salvation creates a hell on earth for them. I think this is a social problem. I also don't believe that priest = pedophile, I think that ignoring your natural sexual urges will eventually show up in very nasty ways.

All right, I’m confused here, aren’t guys supposed to like gay people, but then you all start a thread just make fun of them. It seems you aren’t too comfortable with gays either; you all are only nice to the one’s that vote for you.

Did you read the thread at all before you posted?

Then you would have seen this:

It's ok to be gay. It's not ok to be a hypocrite, which is what these Republicans are.

or this:

It's ok if you're gay. It's not ok if you're a hypocrite who works to deny citizens equal protection before the law. Does that clear things up a little?

If by making fun of gay people, you mean talking openly and freely the same way that we talk about the physical activities and pecadilloes of heterosexuals, then you would be correct.
