in some ways, the sooner we can refer to that whole region in the past tense, the better.

That will only happen once we are free of their oil. I don't see that happening anytime soon with our current president and congress.

Air launch, huh? That's pretty good...

They still need some development in their design of delivery and target acquisition systems.

Good, let them develop nukes

Let them launch one

Let it strike an area in range

Let the retaliation happen

Enjoy peace in the middle east for the next thousand years.

DONT GET INVOLVED!

Pretty much. When we get past this (hopefully) we can be trusted again.
Getting Bush out of office will help with that too.

I love how truly ignorant farkers are. How easily you can wish that all my relatives, family and freinds in Pakistan should be reffered to in the past tense.

We really need to secularize these countries before they're allowed to have certain weapons.

/Starting with America.

Of course, the Bush administration is strangely quiet on this test launch...

I seem to remember that Bush made a grand statement in the past that we were going to do things differently and not prop up dictatorial strong men anymore, like in the past (reference to his father and Clinton).

Looks like that is going right down the shiatter. They better shove a big stick up Musharav's ass to keep him up.

Do you have any idea how nuclear weapons work and what happens after they are exploded? Do you have any idea of the impact that even a limited nuclear exchange would have on life all over the planet, even Moonbat City, which you sound like you are mayor of?

Does this show of force have anything to do with the proclaimed right for us to carry out missions in Pakistan without permission from them?

Anyone nuking the country right next to them had better put their finger in the air that morning and make damn sure they know which way the wind is going to blow.

Grow up dip shiats. There's no room for nukes in this fishbowl.

Peace is a lot less expensive, and destructive.

Rockets for Warfare

muslim_pakistani_guy wtf?

Are you enjoying your 20-year-old single malt whisky ?

2007-08-25 02:13:37 PM
What exactly defines "missile capable of carrying a nuclear warhead?"

The media would have us all believe that it's a bottle rocket attached to a briefcase.

Seriously, what are the distinguishing features of said missile?

/not building one
/thinks that the whole "capable to carry nuclear warhead" BS is just another scare tactic.

American Farkers are dumbmasses.

India was not given nuclear technology anymore than the U.S. was. It was independently developed. Pakistan on the other hand...

India is not a muslim country, it is in fact historically a Hindu country, though there is a very large muslim minority now. And our muslims are usually sane and not-psychotic. Pakistan on the other hand...

And neither Indian nor Pakistan is in the middle east. We are in "South Asia"... "South Asia", got it dumbmasses?

Well, I guess I should've said stole, but I was trying to be nice.
From Time magazine:
"He brought with him the Dutch woman who would become his wife-and extremely sensitive centrifuge designs, which the Dutch say he had stolen from his nuclear employer."

As for the given part:
From Wikipedia:

Foreign Assistance

Pakistan's indigenous scientific research and industrial infrastrucutre have not been capable of evolving or augmenting its ambitious nuclear weapons development program. Pakistan's scientific research output has almost been non-existent and its industry has largely been based on processing its agricultural produce (textile, sugar, paper, etc.) and mineral resources (cement, ceramics, fertilizers, etc.). Historically, China has played a major role in the establishment of Pakistan's nuclear weapons development infrastructure, especially, when increasingly stringent export controls in the western countries made it difficult for Pakistan to acquire nuclear materials and technology from elsewhere. According to a 2001 Department of Defense report, China has supplied Pakistan with nuclear materials and has provided critical technical assistance in the construction of Pakistan's nuclear weapons development facilities. This assistance was illegal, per the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, of which China is a signatory.

North Korea has been a suspected supplier of technology for some of Pakistan's long-range ballistic missiles. According to the US sources, Pakistan entered a deal with North Korea to receive long-range, No-Dong-type, ballistic missiles in return for Pakistan supplying key nuclear technology to North Korea to build it's own nuclear weapon. (See Pakistan-North Korea relations)

Don't you fret: Bush and Cheney know what they're doing. They know that by creating an even greater arms race, their friends will be able to buy more shiny things...and what could be more important than world peace and global stability?

Shiny things.

But that's such a simplified view of the world, isn't it? War for profit...how ridiculous!
