How often are the sat map images updated? I got that side driveway added on almost 10 years ago and it isn't showing up.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark, and we're wearing sunglasses.

Not that often - my house doesn't even have a highest possible res zoom on it - and I live in a state capital!

That's not from Google, that's from whoever the hell does satellite pics of the area.

I cannot verify as I am at work and can't be bothered to install Google Earth just now, but it looks like you have to install this (pop corn) to see it. Link also has a map of where said bride is.

Can anyone tell me if a base install allows seeing this? It looks like you need SketchUp and possibly the bridge seperately.

N 40°00.45 W 075° 02.36 is the bridge. I can't see the car, though.

So do I. And my house is pretty good, couple of years maybe, but not 10. My parents is at least 8 years old, though a few miles away.

The thing is Google doesn't take all the images themselves, if you knew much about GIS you would know how expensive these survey images are to get done, so most cities only do them every few years, even big cities. Google just buys them from cities, USGS, and other sources. The technology is pretty cool, but they are really limited by available data.

Just the .KZM file, you don't need sketchup.
