Fake meat is fake meat. What's the difference?

2002-09-16 12:21:22 AM
Mmmmm.
It tastes so good because they say it is so.

Hey, look on the bright side; it could've been Hormel SPAM instead. Talk about your grounds for lawsuits...

2002-09-16 05:54:02 AM
Look on the brighter side, at least it wasn't turkey heads.

I wonder how many poor souls were unwittingly damned to hell because of this.

Goddam Philip Morris company pretending ham is turkey.
What will they do next? Sell a product that is addictive and causes cancer?

2002-09-16 05:54:52 AM
There are some very unhappy Jews and Muslims out there I bet.

My god! Here ay Kraft HQ, we will always remember, the day that shall be known as, "9/16."

How will this affect the lunch crowd? -One can only picture the horror.

Want to find out what is in the fast food you eat? I strongly recommend reading "Fast Food Nation."

To most, it won't be a surpise the human poo-poo is in your fast food.

BFD, they were mislabeled. Like, when I put on a shirt that makes me look good. "Hey, ladies, I'm moderately attractive." Then, boom! Zima wears off, and they gasp in horror.

I definitely smell a lawsuit in those Lunchables.

2002-09-16 06:55:34 AM
not kosher at all...

2002-09-16 07:52:17 AM
The product was distributed in stores in Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, North Carolina, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York,

Hahahahahhah...funny kosherite joke. Are those Turkey packages embossed with a Kosher Tax Stamp? Hah, kosher ham...

2002-09-16 08:13:33 AM
Was it a processing issue or just a genetic experiment gone horribly wrong?

It's not news, it's...well, actually, it's just simply not news.

2002-09-16 09:18:48 AM
OH MY GOD!!! Not HAM!!!!!!

2002-09-16 09:46:23 AM
Ha! I've got an interview with them today. I probably shouldn't bring this up, should I? As a side note, some people are supposedly allergic to pork, and also, ham obviously isn'y kosher (though why someone who is worried about Kosher would be eating a cracker stacker with cheese is beyond me, but Kraft still has to recall it, since it's mislabelled)

2002-09-16 10:19:45 AM
I bet at least one person got fired over this little mistake.

"You got your ham in my turkey!"
"You got your turkey on my ham!"
"Mmm, tastes great."

Two great tastes that taste great together - Kraft.

Mmmmm sacrilicious!

I've heard of tukey ham but never ham turkey.

In other news, you can tune a piano but you can't tune a fish.

And yes I do have the intellect of a 4th grader.

I've devised a new ham-removing meat! Its active ingredient? ARSENIC! Try some today! farking godfags. Meat is meat. Did you know certain sects of godfags eat fish on fridays because "fish isn't meat"? What the shiat?

2002-09-16 11:47:05 AM
Those things should be outlawed. Have ya LOOKED at the sodium content? Like...750 mg!!

2002-09-16 12:02:11 PM
Apparently the meals were found to contain unhealthy levels of ham.

Raijin Z wtf is a godfag????

You know who is Kraft's parent company?

PHILLIP MORRIS.

You do the math. Ewww. I'm surprised they haven't found a way to include tomaccos in those Lunchables.

Raijin Z. Actually I believe some people eat fish on
fridays because their church told them to.
As I understand it back in the days when the DeMedichi (sp)
family was running Rome, one of the family (the pope) decided that it would be a great idea. Not to mention the fact that the family also owned a large fishing fleet.
Coincidence.....I don't think so. Anyway, I call Lunchables BAD MOTHER FOOD. Make your kid a sandwhich for god's sake.

2002-09-16 03:10:32 PM
No one should be eating Lunchables anyway...the next parent i see buying that tripe in the grocery store is going to get a frozen Pollock right to the abdomen.

2002-09-16 03:29:44 PM
Man, I hope there weren't any people allergic to ham that bought that "Turkey" Lunchable...so wait- are you telling me that there's a chance that that isn't real powdered cheese in my "Macaroni and Cheese" I eat every night??

Actually, it seems that, as many of those strange rules, those were actually rules to give healthier eating habits. Forcing people to eat fish instead of meet at least once a week provided them with an healthier diet, and this really was not a luxury at the time. This would be also the reason why Jews and Muslims cannot eat pork, because under those latitudes, pork meat rot so quickly that this become an extremely dangerous food. After that, bullshiat religious reasons were given for that, mainly because the masses were uneducated and/or dumb, and never would have followed the rules if explained to them.

A friend just mentioned to me two days ago how the lunchables he'd recently purchased at 7-11 tasted exactly the same, whether labeled turkey or ham.

If you want a reason to stop eating hunks of processed meat, drive right past the Oscar Meyer plant (between the plant and the parking lot) in Madison, WI around 6-8 in the morning, and sniff the air. I liked working there but it smells awful :)

This explains why I can never find the turkey/chicken ones....they have that herb sauce....mmmmm....cracker stackers...
